Well I went and checked my cam after a week in the field and when I got there my sd card was not in all the way. Someone had taken it out and deleted my pics from the first 3 days, I know because I stood in front of it and saw that it took a pic of me when I had placed it! My cam had to use it's internal memory to store pics since the card wasn't in right. Thanks for not stealing my cam, I will take a deleted card over losing a cam anyday!

unluckysob, That is obviously one of my fears is to have my cam stolen or a bear to destroy it but so far I have been lucky! I had a bear scratch the top of my cam and elk rub their mouths/noses all over and muddy up the front of my cam!

Raghorn= the bear came up to my cam but didnt do any damage! jeffcros= I haven't seen any bucks in there yet!

I wonder how many trailcams are out there in the woods? I own one and will be buying another soon. Most people have more than one cam out there and I talked to a guy the other day that has 40! So I am not surprised we are going to cross paths with each other but why be a scum-bag and steal someone elses property!

Bh4life means Jay Scott's blog, it is really good!

My question is, if you had $100 which trail camera would you buy?

Thanks for posting your pix, it is always interesting to see what is moving out in the woods!

The bears are out and moving around. I had one that came up to my cam and luckily only scratched it and didn't do any real damage. Glad yours was damaged too bad and thanks for the pix! My first thought on pix #5 was mtn. lion but it is hard to tell!

So you took these pictures yesterday on May 12th and the buck was still packing horns? I cant really tell from the picture but I assume it is a coues, right? Just curious if they still have horns or not, thanks for posting! Pixman -
Well after having my trailcam in the dessert for 6 months I went to put it up north in elk country and found this nice Az. bear about a half mile away from where I put my cam! I think I should have invested in a bear box!

I went and picked up my trailcam today and had a few bear pix on it and realized the bear had actually came up and scratched my trailcam, it didn't do any real dammage. I am glad it didn't destroy it!

Thanks for posting your pix! I was wondering if the elk were pushing velvet or not, so now I will go put my trailcam up in the high country!

I have found a few sheds over the years but haven't found any elk sheds in years so I decided this was the year! I have tried 4 different times and places and hiked about 12 miles and didn't find anything not even an old one! I did see elk every trip so I know I am going in elk country but it isn't easy. Keep trying and dont think that everyone finds antlers all the time , you just see the people that have had success on here not the unsuccessful trips!
