I feel your pain. My house was broke into on Wednesday and the guy took my ruger 357,laptop,camera along with other things and $300 cash. Luckily things worked out and the cops were quick to respond and we got everything back other than our since of security! Hope you can recover your things as well.

Congrats to you guys, I know that feeling of hiking and getting very discouraged not finding anything and then you see a shed laying there and it is an awesome feeling! I was excited about finding the small 4 point and then the 6 point close by was icing on the cake!

Well I had a good day but nothing compared to echo! But I am happy with what I found, hard to believe they were laying out in the open and so close together! I almost didn't go clear to the top but I am glad I did, it was the only sheds I found all day!

Def. not a coues shed there or I would have picked it up, it is just grass or something.

Pixman replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
Good looking bull but I see 7x8 not 6x8. Are you trying to see if we are paying attention! -
Those are some awesome bulls, thanks for sharing them and good luck this year!

Well I went shed hunting in a new place that a new friend told me about. I hiked for 3 1/2 hours and found these 2 sheds. I was hoping for more of course but I didn't come home empty handed like I have before, so I am happy! Thanks new friend, you know who you are(not sure if you want mentioned or not)

I am planning on going shed hunting in elk country Thursday. I want to leave early and come home in the afternoon so just a day trip. If anyone wants to join me I live in east Mesa and plan on going somewhere below the rim. Let me know and we can make arrangements. Thanks, Pixman

Well I hiked for 4 1/2 hours and found an old busted whitey. I am not very good at this shed hunt game but I enjoy getting out there and trying anyway.

Amanda, Great job on the write up and pics! You didn't mention anything about the owls though. I might have to take a hike in there one of these days! -
Nice pics, thanks for sharing. I was able to do about 5 miles on Thursday but didn't find any. My goal is to find one nice brown 6 point this year since I haven't found hardly anything in the last few years. I guess I need to hike about 20 miles or so to get the job done!

Me and a buddy were talking about this and he said it is brown when the velvet comes off. I think it is white and then he rubs his antlers on things and makes them brown. Why are the tips and certain high points white and everything else is brown? What do you guys think?

Very cool thread, I joined 2 years ago so I haven't seen this before. I dont have any freaky sheds but I do have some pics I could add on to this thread or start a new one maybe!

Well I took the pic and don't remember a nursing fawn but most of my attention was on the buck, lol. I thought there were only 6 but now I am not sure.

Great video, I love how the other buck is in the background chasing the doe while they are locked up! -
Very cool, you can tell it is a Hybrid. Can I ask what unit you saw him in or pm me if you want. I have posted some Hybrid doe pics on here!
