I want some more bear pics so I think I should head to Black River!
-
I did have a cam out in the area but never got the Hybrids.
-
Yes I do and he is awesome! I can't wait to see how he turns out this year.

Great pics, crazy how the bear is walking around in the middle of the day when it is 95 degrees!

I have found the triple crown in one year but not all were brown. I have also found a couple of moose sheds while I was on a trip in Canada.
-
Thanks for the pics, it gives me a few ideas!

I started with 5 white sheds that just sat in a box in the garage. I have spent a little time coloring them and now I am working on fixing up my computer room so I can display the sheds that were once white but now have a little life to them! Any creative or simple ways to display them would be appreciated. The wife is on board as well, that is a big step because she isn't a huge fan of sheds in the house!

Thanks for adding the link Jimmer! I am in the process of moving things around and figuring out what we like. I am also coloring a couple more sheds so if they turn out good I will have to figure out a place for them as well.

Very nice, congrats! -
I would say it is a hard white 2-3 years old. Now it is sitting on my computer desk looking like a brown, lol. I am in the middle of coloring an elk shed if it looks good I wil post a pic, if not I will pretend I didn't attempt to color it.

Well I colored a few more of my white sheds and really like how this one turned out! Before After

X2 X3 Ok the first time I tried it I used dirt from my backyard, this time I took a bucket and brought home some dirt from up north that is a little darker and would be more the color that they are from. So I mix up some mud and make it a litlle clumpy so it will stick to the antlers(not too runny) and rub it on antler and coat the antler avoiding the bases of course. Let the mud dry on the antler for at least 24 hours. rub and brush off all the mud and wipe with a cloth to get dust off. Use a rag and Old English lemon oil and rub all over the antler and let dry. It is fairly simple but it takes a couple days to complete because of drying. If it seems light colored I will re-apply the mud and let dry again. Good luck! Pixman
