That is why I like this website so much because we are like a family and we stand up for each other when someone says harsh words to someone else. This isn't the first discussion that raised a few eyebrows and it won't be the last. We celebrate each others accomplishments and feel the pain of losses or unfilled tags. We say congrats when someone kills a spike not come down on someone because he didn't kill the biggest animal out there. This is the best website out there for that reason and we enjoy sharing and seeing each other stories and photos. So you being new and saying the things you did caused a little trouble and maybe we missed your sense of humor at times. We all love seeing pics of all different kinds of critters so I was hoping you would share with us and not just tell about what you saw. Take care and join this great big family known as CWT.com!

azborn2hunt, So where are the pics of these big bulls that you saw and keep talking about? It is easy to say you saw them but let's see the proof. Just about everyone has a camera or a phone you can take pics with even its not great quality. You stir the pot but don't back it up with any proof so its hard to believe you.

So do you have any pics or video of bulls from that area to show us? Not saying you have to prove it just curious and I always enjoy seeing big bulls!

I'd ask the deer but he's dead! In all seriousness, the other two smaller bucks he was with were both hard horned (3x3 & 4x3). I've been on several of the early October Jr's hunts over the last several years and have almost always seen at least one buck still in velvet so I don't think it's all that rare. I saw an even bigger buck killed in a different unit on a Jr's hunt a few years ago that was also perfect velvet and that hunt took place almost a week later than this years hunt. I was actually more surprised that there were three bucks and two does together than I was about the velvet. I know it was a silly question but I saw a small 3x2 yesterday that was hard horned so it seems strange that a big buck would still have its velvet. I guess wildlife doesn't always follow the rules, it just does what it does and we try and figure out why.

Congrats on a great buck but I do have a question. Why does the buck still have its velvet? Seems like it would be hard horned by now.

Nice pics Keith but I have a question. In the second pic in the upper left corner there is a light and then in the next two pics it looks like the light is moving across or something like a shooting star or airplane. The third and fourth pics are 6 minutes apart but have the same strange light. Any idea what it is?
