Well the game and fish released two more wolves into the wild. Makes no since to me. -
Nice bull. I assume that's the rim in the background?

Way to go. Nice. -
I hate missing. Is it better to have shot and missed or never got a shot at all? That is a question I've had to ask my self in the past.

Congrats on the nice buck and the start of your family.

Still I rather get drawn than not. More tags means just try harder or hold out for a September tag.

Good job. Congradulations. With 7 kids, if only half become hunters brother you're gonna be a busy man. Great start keep it going( I'm sure you will).

Took a buddy of mine out for his first tag ever. He had the November 1 hunt and only three days to hunt. We only saw does on day one and the morning of day two. Then that afternoon we saw a spike that bedded at face of rock outcropping about 3:30. My buddy got into position but the deer wouldn't get up, so with shooting light fading about 5:30 I told him to shoot the rock face behind the deer and it worked perfect. The buck jumped out of his bed looking back the rock face standing broadside. I was glassing the deer and saw him do a back flip and drop dead as my buddy hit him withh his second shot from a 7mm mag. I didn't get to the buck till after dark, we field dressed him and then packed him out not getting back to the truck till around 8. Lot of work for a spike but it was fun.

Thanks for info. I will be shooting a .300 wsm with 150grn at the end of the month (22s bull) didn't want to switch to 180 grn as scope is already set for 150's

Nice bulls!!!! What rifle and bullet grain were you using?

Great spot nice pix thanks -
Had that tag a couple of years ago, its a fun hunt. I will be down there this year with a rifle at the end of November. Good luck to your son. FYI dont use those cheap Traditions muzzy scopes they bump off zero on every shot with a .50 cal. (At least the one I had did).

If everybody used money orders we would probably have results by now
