I went out to pull my camera in hopes of seeing some turkey sign but all I got were a bunch of pics of two different bears. I also seen a nice cinnamon colored bear about a 1/4 mile from my camera when I went to pull it. Here are a few pics of one of the bears.

Ive got a 1964 GMC Fleetside Shortbed. This truck does not run at the moment and is a project truck. NEEDS WORK! It currently has a 283 in it with a 4 speed with a granny gear.It was my project truck that I'll never have the time or money to finish the right way. Looking to trade straight across for some Swarovski 15x56. May be willing to trade for a good long range rifle around the same value of my asking price. Will sell for $2000 cash.

I am typing this for my husband as he is at work right now. He is going shed hunting tomorrow with our twin 10 year old daughters for their first time tomorrow. They were going to head out to the Stoneman Lake area because we have heard and read good things about it. We have no idea about where to begin. He is not set on the Stoneman Lake area so if anyone wants to meet up and go shed hunting tomorrow he will be more than happy to head out to another spot. If you are not headed out but have some pointers on other good spots in pine country that would be good to check out it would be greatly appreciated. We would really like this to be a successful day for them. They are really interested into learning about hunting and have been practicing with their bow. They have been on several hunts with us and have been really excited waiting to get out there for a shed hunting day. We are just trying to keep the next generation going. Any guidance would be great. Thanks in advance.

Went out with my dogs on Sat. to hang some cameras/stands up on Mt. Ord. Went to bed in the truck that night with just some high winds. I had checked the weather before leaving and it called for rain throughout the night but should have been cleared up in the morning. I woke up around 3am to a complete white out with about 8in of fresh snow on the ground and it still coming down pretty hard. Tried to pack up and get out of there but I was too late. My 4cyl 2wd hombre wasnt going to make it out. So I packed up the goods and dressed warm. I called my pop and told him to start heading to Mt. Ord and I'll meet him at the bottem. I gave my dogs a big piece of steak and headed out in the snow. After a long hike to the bottem me and my dogs made it home safely. As for my truck, well its still up there.

That sucks man. The same thing happened to ma not even a month ago and I lost all the deer meat I had in there from my coues I just took in September. It was my first coues too. On a positive note I just put some meat back in there from my Archery Javelina hunt. Hang in there bud, It'll get better. Congrats on the little one.

olmos1010 posted a topic in Classified Ads
I've got a Swarovski Habicht ST 80 spotting scope with a Manfrotto tripod for sale. Its an older set up but the glass on the scope is flawless. It is 20-60 power and super clear and crisp. Selling to try and upgrade my binos . Will consider trade for a good pair of 15x's. Price is $800.
