So I got my bow back last Thursday after sending it in to get new limbs, Old limbs were starting to splinter. I was pretty excited to get out and shoot so on Sunday morning I headed out to Usery. Unfortunately my bow was all out of wack, way louder and I couldnt even goup at 20yds. Now I was pissed and wanted to take my bow back to where it was set up at but I decided not to. Instead I gave the guys at Ross a call and took it in on Monday before work. Nathan LaCost was the guy who helped me out and had my bow dialed in in a matter of minutes. Super friendly guy and a true professional at what he does. I had a first class experience with the guys at Ross and will definately be doing all my bow business with them in the future. Thanks again. Frank,

I'm looking to buy a coyote/bobcat hunting rifle. Something that is good out to about 200yds. I'm not set on a specific setup or cal. But don't want to spend more then about $400-$500 bucks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and if anyone has a setup that they are looking to get rid of please post pics. Thanks. Frank,

Funny that this came up. A couple buddies and me were out quail hunting this past weekend and though the quail were hard to come by the Jacks were plentiful. We took all the backstraps (which were surprisingly decent size) and did them in a crock pot with some veggies and potatos and they came out goooood.. First time for Jacks but they better look out from here on out. "The key is Preparation"

Hypothetical Bear Questions????
olmos1010 replied to azcouesfanatic's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
If it was during March 22nd through July 31st I would shoot the bear no question. Outside of that I'd "probably" pass. -
Way to get after it, nice job and a great bear. Very cool blog by the way.

Well done. Big congrats to all three of you.

Thats so awesome, Big congrats. Thats exactly where my dad and I are at right now, both of us trying to get our first bears. My dad is my only "consistent" hunting partner and every hunt sucessful or not is a memory I'll cherish forever. Nothing like getting it done with your Pops, nice job. Beautiful Bears by the way.
