looking to work for them or looking for a realtor? I know a couple of them (not west USA but two different agencies)

maybe it was one of those mid western hunters hunting from his "blind".... I have a step-cousin in Wisconsin.... he posted pictures on facebook one season of his hunting spot. showed his bow, his glass of iced tea, and his railing from his back porch. ha ha

Well,.... there's numerous angles this could go for discussions sake. First, "bigger is cooler" so with a misleading thread topic, you're bound to rile up a few unpleasant responses. I too clicked on it, simply because of the headline. I've got a any antlered hunt to come up so its exciting to see success. And I've spent plenty of time in 8... at times I thought there wasnt a wild animal left in that unit outside of bearizona (at least when I have a tag in my hand), so I opened it to see something from unit 8 to prove me wrong. 2nd... the general populous of this group would have been more excited and supportive to see "buddy's first buck" then being "hooked"... but then again, youre screen name is "Catfish", ha ha... get it? 3rd...It is a little buck, some people here may have their own thing to say about that. But looks like he got a lucky shot, and still gets to hang a tag on his first hunt. I cant say I ever got to do that. Good for him. Next time, think bigger and either aim for the vitals or practice in the off season to control the "swing and sway" to stay on target.

#1 leave it up to the IT guy to figure out the 'puter dealy and post the pics. #2you wouldn't be hunting solo if you asked me for my hunt choices and didn't put in on your own. Just kidding. Enjoy the 20A tag

So I couldn't post the "e-flier" that was in my email, but here is the gist of it: Az sportsmans for wildlife conservation is raffling off a pair of TR400 walkie talkies . tickets are $5/each. 250 tickets will be sold, and the drawing is august 31. here's the link: http://arizonasportsmenforwildlifeconservation.org/raffles.html

Personal Observation About Paddle Boards, Or Whatever You Call Them
mbiewer replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
Not an expert at all, but I thought the law was anyone under 12 had to have a life vest on (boating, or any type of watercraft). As for the adult law. Every person in the vessel has to have a life jacket, just not necessarily wearing it. I know in my sit in hard side kayak, I wouldn't be able to get it out of the back compartment if there was an incident, but most of the time, that's where mine resides. -
the blackberries are coming in great too from what my friend reported to me

So we got drawn for our second choice for the early deer hunt (nov 13th). Trying to find some maps for the area. I know flatline doesn't have one yet. Are the hunt unit maps worth the $35? So far the only good looking map I have come across is the BLM maps. Looks like all I need to get is the Bradshaw Mountain quadrant map. Trying to find a decent map before I go out and start my scouting trips.

this is really blowing up on facebook. I seen the story in a couple of news feeds from different friends. Seems the "Chicken Littles" of social media are in a shouting match. The majority of the postings I seen are "they're gonna slaughter the horses". I seen one story from kpho (channel 12) that said they are planning on rounding the horses up for removal, to be auctioned off. I wish I could attend, but it is meet the teacher night for the kids, so I am booked up to that. I know I for one, enjoy seeing the horses. I can usually find them each time I go kayaking down the salt. Its always pretty impressive to see them. please let us know how the meeting goes

I think my brother has the upper end of the trusts. He has his class III for silencers and stuff, and Brian at the time was into short barreled rifles. So each other was listed on the other person's trust. Ben had a bigger safe with more room, so some of brains goods were stored at bens house. With each other listed they can both access the firearms that the other has, without the other person being present. The key thing, is if you are going to eventually get a class 3 for the cooler toys, is to get a trust first. Then you can tax stamp everything to the trust, and do it one time. Brians mistake was he had some tiems registered to him before having the trust. Once he established his trust he had to pay for the tax stamp again, to transfer it to the trust. (one legal identity-himself- selling it ot a second legal identity-the trust. even though he was executer of it)

the tonto pass is only for "congested" areas. the salt river, the lakes, camp sites (like haigler creek for example). we go to 23 all the time and don't need a pass. What did you get drawn for Bob?

Sorry, was out of town on vacation for a week. My brother and his buddy each did their own. Ben (my brother) is pretty knowledgeable about it. Brian (brother's friend) unfortunately passed away last year, so ben has experencie about the transferring and stuff like that as well. I can get you his contact info if you would like

just checked at 12:30.... nothing posted... there's no hope, may as well go back to work. ha ha ha -
wow, that's an awesome piece of art. I may have to show this thread to my girlfriend as a defensive tactic later. Been with her for 18 months, and get along really well. she's a good "fit" for family and friends and likewise I get along great with her two kids and family. Came across camo wedding bands (his and hers) and showed them to her, told her I was ready to "get serious" now that I found the right ring.... cant remember what she said exactly but pretty certain it rhymed with "duck bo". ha ha ha. Not that she wouldn't marry me, just not under those conditions ....err the camo ring. Now when ever someone brings it up, and she says "matt just needs to ask and bring the ring".... I tease her and say that I shouldn't be expected to choose the ring she is to wear , because she shouldn't have to pick the camo pattern that I have to wear. Seems to keep her sassiness in check pretty easily. Antler ring it is!

So heading up to Bear canyon lake this weekend. It occurred to me, time to dust off the ol' traps and try to help eradicate a nuisance (or fill my belly at least). I know woods canyon has them, but I never trusted leaving my traps out overnight. Has anyone had any luck up north? was gonna try cat food or cheap tuna in my traps this weekend to see what happens. I hope that if I set them up at an easily accessible spot, I can check them if we can manage to camp withing walking distance to the lake on the eastern edge.
