    Game Camera Batteries

Eric, No disrespect intended, but I have never found a rechargeable battery, even the Ni-MH, that performs as advertised. Your numbers seem to be very wishful. Being an electrical engineer with a whole bunch of trail cams, I have done many experiments, and I keep coming back to lithium batteries. You can always get a great deal on Lithium batteries at costco or Sams club. When the technology improves and a reliable rechargeable is finally developed, I will be the first to convert. Mark Mark, Lithium batteries are great, thanks and I highly recommend them. What name brand of rechargeable batteries were you using? Again, I have found a big difference in the quality between different manufacturers. I have been using the Tenergy batteries and for the last year have found them to perform better than any others in the field. Thanks and appreciate the input. Eric

    Scope for long range shooting??

Dave, We just added a NightForce to my sons 300 UM and have been extremely pleased with everything about it. We went all the way with the 12-42X56 , it will reach out there! Check them out and good luck. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the scopes recommended above. http://nightforceoptics.com/nightforcescopes/index.html Eric

    Eberlestock Halftrack??

Jeremy, I have the Halftrack but I feel for what you are looking for the Eberlestock J34. It will be a better hunting pack. Is what is great about this pack is it has a built in scabbard that I use for my tripod when I am not carrying a gun, which is most of the time. I use this pack and it is great. Once you use a scabbard you will never go back to a pack without one. The J34 is also a packing machine with the built in metal frame. It will take care of all your needs you talked about. The Blue Widow is a great pack, just a little larger than the J34 but it doesn't have a scabbard. With the J34 you will have lots of room when completely expanded. You can also add a "Super Spike duffel" on to the pack with zippers on if you need more room. One sad note, Eberlestock's warehouse burnt down 2 weeks ago and lost half their stock, including all the J34's. So finding one at this time is going to be tough. Contact me if you need more information or if you would like to talk about all options. Hope this helps. Eric
