My first camera I set up was ripped down by a bear, there was a tooth mark right in the lens.

Is 28 years to long and counting? I am still waiting on a mount (not a deer) that I gave a taxidermist 28 years ago. I killed a Javalina in 1983 with a BOW. Gave it to a taxidermist that I wont mention his name and $150 for a head mount. He disappeared. Then 10 years later he showed up again, I went and talked to him and he remembered and said he was sorry and promised to get me one. Then disappeared again. He showed up again not long ago in Flagstaff, I need to go see if it is done! Good luck on yours!

Hi Reddog, The unit is $149.99, there is a rebate going on right now for $50, plus I will give you another 10% back. The Service fee is $99.99 for one year. You can also add other services like tracking and GEOS search and rescus and more see link below. http://www.findmespot.com/en/index.php?cid=110 Hope that helped. Eric

I know this one was for Amanda but I have both and prefer the Spot 2 if I was to choose only one because it will work without the smart phone. I do like the Connect because I can communicate better. You cna still use the emergency function with out the smart phone if it did dye and you needed it. Amanda, what do you think.

I'm sorry you had that problem. The internet buying experience is different, it does save time and money but if an item doesn't work then there is the hassle of getting it from you to them and back. All of the manufacturers do the same. We try to help in that area, if we send you a broken item we try to help get it replaced for you if they wont take care of it.

Thanks Amanda! I know they are expensive but someday they will save a life around you. We are going to rent these if you are interested. 2 years ago I was getting ready to go into the wilderness for 4 days, just a week before that I buckled up in pain and couldn't move. I had an emergency operation to remove a foot of my colon and only had 24 to 36 hours to get medical attention before possibly dying. Had I gone on my trip and this happened without something like this SPOT I probably wouldn't be here today. I use mine almost every time I go out just to keep in contact with the family. I also let my kids use it when they go. We have these units in stock don't forget to ask for the CouesWhitetail member discount (normally 5% but for this item I will give 10% off). Thanks, Eric

I am looking for a good 16' tandem trailer (or close), one that I can haul my Polaris Ranger on. Plus some building material now an then. Hoping to find one that is is decent shape and not to expensive. Also would like to trade some hunting gear and cash. Appreciate all offers. Thanks, Eric

Sorry to hear that you have heard that Eberlestock has bad service, We have been selling Eberlestock for years and found them to be #1. What exactly are you wanting the pack for? Day trips packing in, archery, rifle?
-
Have you ever drove a truck without power steering? To me that is having a backpack without a built in scabbard like Eberlerstocks packs. You can strap your rifle on most other packs but you have to take your pack off to get to your rifle. Eberlestock have designed their packs so you can access your rifle from the scabbard while the pack is on your back. This allows you to feel more comfortable about putting your rifle away while hunting. Today's western type hunting you need your hands free for glassing, not holding your rifle all day or trying to keep your rifle on your shoulder with a pack on. Also, with the built in scabbard when you take your pack off and set it down your rifle and scope is protected. If you haven't tried one you need to. Good luck.
