We are now booking our early coues deer hunts. The Az hunting season begins August 20th. If you are a hunter that loves the challenge of a spot and stalk hunt then it get no better than this. If you like to sit water holes then again you won't be disapointed. We guide a limited number of clients during this hunt. We were 100% with six clients during the 2009 early season for coues deer, and one of the bucks is the pending SCI nontypical world record with a score of 135.7/8. We also Still have openings for the December Mule deer season starting December 10th and ending on December 31st. Hunters can expect to harvest bucks ranging from the 130's to 170's. We also have openings for the January 2011 Coues Deer season, and we are offering one of the same specials as last year, you can bring your youth child to hunt for free if you book a hunt. www.wardsoutfitters.com

Here is my dilemma. I Know this young kid that took a trail camera from a site in the chircahuas . He said that it had been there for a long time before he took it . I informed him that he should have left it where it was and never touched it. He explained to me the approximate area it was taken from and I have a pretty good idea of where he is talking about. So I want to get it back to the right full owner. So if you are missing a trail camera from the chiricahua mtns please call me and describe it to me and I will get it back to you. 520-404-5114 THanks Steven

I have one just like it. so I could use it , but the owner needs to claim it . It would be bad karma for me to use it. I am very superstitious.

I'm in and can think of a few others that would also enjoy it.

We had a bad shipment of blades . They were sharpened .003 to deep. We just made some more videos and I will have them posted soon, Sorry guys about the delay but I will not put a product out to you that is not perfect. No law suit these heads are patented. -

I can't give the exact specifications of blade material due to the fact that we don't want other manufactures using this material. most mechanical heads blades are to brittle and snap under extreme pressure. the Inverter blades are designed to bend not brake -

The o-ring rarelyneeds to be replaced when practicing! Nothing new ,I would have to disagree. Show me an expandable head that penetrates like a conventional head and then deploys. We to are adamant about archery equipment , this is why I designed this broadhead. As for the material , I would be foolish to tell what type of blade material we use!!! Here are a few pictures of some bulls harvested with the inverter -

I am selling a 24 foot pontoon boat , I bought this boat three years ago as a project and have pretty much finished , It has basically been totally restored , to include rebuilding the engine. As with all used stuff it has a few minor issues , but with that said it runs perfect and is lake ready. Just had my forth child and don't really have time to get it on the water so why keep it. Make me a reasonable offer .e-mail me for pictures , for some reason I can't get them loaded on the site Thanks Steven trophyhunts@wardsoutfitters.com 520-404-5114

I was down in Mexico for a few days and did take a few rifles down, I bet it took no longer that 20 minutes total to check at the entrance to Mexico and the military. Good luck to all headed down to the Hunting Club. Glass hard and shoot straight. I hope to see some good pictures and hear some good stories.

My grandfather tells me about a buck he killed in the Dos Cabez mountains in the 50’s the buck had 21 points on the right and 13 on the left he said the buck had so much mass that he had to put the metal tag on one of the points. He said when he got back to the truck he noticed the tag had fallen off, so he had to follow the drag marks back to find it. My dad was there with him on the hunt and said it was a monster. Now that he knows more about scoring he said it had to be in the high 140’s to low 150’s. Can you believe they didn’t take a single picture and my grandmother threw the antlers away during a move

Any Bulls in the late archery yet?
wardsoutfitters replied to cbryant11's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I guided Laurel Sroufe on her first Archery elk hunt in 5bs. I will have to say she did a good job and hunted hard with us. I thought the hunt was going to be mainly a evening type hunt at water and feeding areas , but it turned out this hunt was mainly a morning hunt. We basically got into areas I knew the bulls we frequenting and listened for sparing , when I heard them we would then make a stalk. Friday of the hunt was pretty slow not much action, Saturday we were in the middle of 11 bulls but just couldn’t make it happen, Sunday we followed three bulls but again couldn’t get it done, Monday we had them all figured out and two coyotes messed it all up, and on Tuesday it all came together. Laurel shot this bull at 20 yards between a feeding and bedding area. This is her second animal with a bow, she harvested a 87” coues buck with us in January , and Her husband harvested this bull also in 5bs with us in September. -
31 Goulds for me and 29 Goulds for my father

Rick Valdez had his buck officially scored by SCI and it ended up 135. 7/8” Just Wanted to let you all know. Thanks Steven

Being in my position as a sponsor and an outfitter I have to be careful what I say, but in this case I have to state my opinion. I would have to say you should have waited until they were gone and then looked for blood. There is really no excuse for what happened. You should have at least continued to shoot at the cow you initially shot at. You did the right thing by contacting game and fish, but I will say again you should have never shoot at another animal until you had positively confirmed you had not hit the animal you first shot at. Sorry I don’t agree with anyone who says this was the right thing to do.
