200"mulie

250 tags is not a lot of tags. (unit 31). only saw 4 people hunt same spot we were right off the forest road!! no road hunters no annoying quads going up and down the road all day. also daw 3 of the biggest deer i've ever seen (that i couldn't get a shot at) high concentration of bucks but really thick, rocky, steep hills. missed a fork but i will be out there in dec./jan. so i'm not giving up on my spot

what unit?

nice buck and actually when we hunted 31 last weekend we found a shed that was 3x_ (only found 1 side) was even smaller than that. i will try to get a picture of it and post it. main beam was maybe 6-8" and each point that came off was 2-3" one of the smallest 3X_ i've ever seen

last year in unit 1. most of the bulls were off the cows very few were in the pines and there was pretty big herds out in the flats with some decent bulls in them. none of the monsters was with them. we did bump into a herd of bulls out in the flats also that were mostly big bulls. cows are pretty much the only ones talking to each other to make sure everyone is ok and accounted for. you might hear a small short bugle (we heard 2 last year) hunt the flats and be prepared to take long shot.

the only mule deer buck i have seen is when i was scouting about 6 years ago on the nourth east side of the dragoon mnts. but he wasn't the flats he was in the bottom of the foothills

HEY I FORGOT WHEN YOU GET TO WHERE YOU LAST SAW THEM MAKE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION IN THE CANYON. WHEN THE DEER GET TO MUCH PRESSURE OR EDUCATED THEY WALK OUT THEY DON'T RUN THEY LIKE TO BE STEALTHY!!! it has happened to me hundreads of times. good luck!!!

wow stolen jeep found within 24 hours and all his stuff missing. i realy hope finger prints show up . . otherwise you have to start buying all the crap you lost. I HOPE HIS TAG WASTED IN THERE AS WELL

i would think one or two would fall off and yes there are getting minerals off the dam. but pretty amazing stuff

my buddy and myself have a thing that if you kill in the unit switch to another . . . it's our superstition thing. it's weird but that is what we do

depends on when and if weather front comes threw. if it's cold and cloudy with no wind i find them moving around to get warm in the sun, the wind will put them down cause there sense's are all screwed up -----> can't hear as good, trees and grass blowing all over you can only smell up wind. i would choose the second week Good luck and hope you can go on your dec. hunt i'm sure wifey shall come around sooner or later
