it's going to be better than today and tomorrow. should be warm but not terrible.watch the water holes!! i had a great hunt 2 weeks ago lows in the lowers 40's and high's in mid 60's in unit 31 in the desert anyway good luck guys

elk it think it is different than coues hunting . . .at least you can work for eachother see if you bump deer into each other. but elk in the rut........ i'm sure he was driving down a road listen for bugles and heard one stopped and planned on going out, but like you said how do you know he didn't just see you went down the road stopped and got out in front of you hopefully get a shot at a bull. i would of at least have a quick word with him and hopefully would understand

in the second pic looks like his antlers grown straight up. he does have a dark spot on his forehead. does have a white stripe on his neck but maybe grow into fully grayed out spot around the muzzle and neck. i say mulie

37a and b is my fav spot to do some archery hunting in the winter. good luck

i think spot and stocking for mulies is the funnest thing ever. last year i came up behind some deer after they bedded down and got to 15 yards of them. . . .they jumped up (6 doe and 1 decent buck) didn't know what was making noise. i had a arrow notched already so when i heard some stand up i drew. and my luck the dam buck was behind a bush . . .held my bow forever and had to let go. then they finally saw me move so they high tailed it outta there. i drew once more and tried to stop him . . .but was not letting these 6 does go fun times . .cause usually when you spook them they don't go to far

wow the second deer looks to be a younger brother . . . not as tall, about the same width , better eye guards and same mass. 2nd deer ---> 110-113

i was in pretty remote . . .ok well not that remote i could see a small town, but anyways it was really tought terrain so my answer is no. but i could see34's 36's 33 37's units having some trouble cause of major cities close by

250 tags is not a lot of tags. (unit 31). only saw 4 people hunt same spot we were right off the forest road!! no road hunters no annoying quads going up and down the road all day. also daw 3 of the biggest deer i've ever seen (that i couldn't get a shot at) high concentration of bucks but really thick, rocky, steep hills. missed a fork but i will be out there in dec./jan. so i'm not giving up on my spot
