I don't see anything in the regs.Turkey are considered Big Game in Az. If there were special notes it would be next to the hunt #s. A quick call could save a big trouble! Good luck! James

Went out to retrieve my treestand just south of Stoneman lake yesterday. Stopped to make a couple sets for some coyotes.My brother-inlaw had his 5 year old with us. Howled 1 up had him on a dead run til he dropped off into a wash and must have circled to get the wind. My nephew was putting his head in and out of his jacket( this was actually quite funny as he is toe headed and his head shined bright) No luck! So we retrieved my treestand and checked a couple of spots for sheds with no luck. We decided to take the FR214 down to Camp Verd.It started to snow, visability was about 75-100yds. We saw lots of elk wich is always exciting for the young ones. Then the snow let up for a bit and we hit another stand. Had them howling all around us. We sat more seperated this time so the coyotes would focus on my location instead with me calling. After a session of howling I gave them a little pup distress. 2 min in I hear the bark of the .243. I let the caller go a few more minutes and nothing else came.I get up to see what we got and with the look on my brother-inlaws face it was a clean miss look.Coyote came from his left and caught him moving the rifle. At least the boy got to see some action. We continued on down the hill saw 75- 100 more elk. One of the groups was still sporting several rag horns. What a great day! James

It all started with too much to drink 1 thing led to another he ended up with beer goggles on took 1 home. He didn't want to wake her so he chewed his own paw off. True story. James

saw tons of turkeys in 23 this past weekend! 3 weeks in a row saw some around Haigler creek. check west of the private houses down stream from the day use area. James

I have seen him(Le Roy) turn in some big sacks of fish! His fishn' partner buys/sells antlers then buys pumpkins then christmas trees then starts all over the next season. I have always thought that was cool! James

Question.... How much does it hurt your chances if you set a blind up the day your hunt begins? After you spend alot of money on a good blind and set it up a week or so before only to have some "Cornbagger" steal it...........We can't all afford to own 3 or 4. I'm sure it has a negative affect but How much? Thanks in advance for any imput. James

Was out this weekend and put a stock on a nice 3x3 real tall G2s. He was with 5 does 1 spike and a fawn. The spike busted me. After 3 1/2 hours I tend to lose my patience! Also saw another 3x3 real wide on my way out, but the wind was wrong. Rut was definately on there! James
