    Swaro NL Pures?

I currently have 10x32 NLs, 12x 42 NLs and a BtX. The usability of the 10's in a chest harness has really surprised me

    Swaro NL Pures?

Where are you located? if you are ever in Flagstaff I most likely can get both to look through. Having said that once I used 12Nls I instantly sold my 12 ELs My son ran 10 x 42 ELs and 15x56 HDs. One day in Mexico I made it run my 12 Pures. He gave them back 4 days later, then sold the 10's and 15's and bought 12 Pures.

    Swaro NL Pures?

Having owned a bunch of ELs and SLC's, and now NLs, I personally haven't noticed this phenomenon. I feel the DOF is the same on the NLs

    Swaro NL Pures?

NL Pures are simply the finest binoculars made. They are simply spectacular. They are superior to ELs in nearly every way. Most of the ones being sold are Pure 12's. People were mostly selling their 12's to buy 14's. You will see more 12 NLs for sell now because of the new 12x42 RF ELs introduction.

WTB Swarovski STS-80 HD with 25X50 eyepiece

Wider field of view. More eye relief. And a better image. There is a reason it's costs 20% more its seldom you can use 60x anyway.

    Steiner vs Leupold

It's 10 oz but who's counting. Well, I guess I am. Ive shot hundreds of rounds through it. And far more than that through my STW with a VX6 and it has a much sharper recoil than the 300. I've never had a Leupold fail. I've shot 10's of thousands of rounds through various Leupolds without any failures yet so I'm not too worried about it. And no, I don't burn my barrels up. I guess you could say about any scope you haven't shot enough for it to fail yet. I was talking to a person who tests smokeless muzzleloaders about a build and he warned me about scope selection. He said a 300 gr bullet at over 3000 fps really stresses a scope. He said to make sure I put a Leupold or NF on it. I own an NXS and I by far prefer my Leupolds. There no way I'm putting a NF on a Rifles Inc Strata. I didn't buy a light weight rifle just to weigh it down. To each his own.

    Steiner vs Leupold

    I have a 300 Weatherby that weighs 5lb 4oz. There's no way I'd put a 30 oz scope on it. It's has a VX6 on it. I've never had a Leupold fail me. Just lucky I guess.

    270 WSM sizing issues

Your chamber is the best headspace measurement you've got. Don't worry about it, buying a headspace kit will not help you in anyway with this. BTW the very first place brass chambers easy after resizing is almost always near that magical 0.0020" shoulder bump I would expect new brass to chamber easily. But after a stout load or 2 I'll bet it is stiff again. Unfortunately Norma is very soft brass and will exceed its elastic limits faster than most brass. Winchester and Lapua brass will be your friend. You need a SB die. Removing 0.050" off of your resizing die would likely solve your problem but I don't recommend it because of shoulder set back. Good luck.
  12. I can't remember the last time I used this. I'm thinking it might be better with the BTX and 115mm. Absolutely perfect. I have the box but didn't take a picture. Mike Flagstaff 928.707.6327

    Rangefinder Recommendations?

It'd be awfully hard to not by a Leupold right now. The idea of ranging and dropping a pin to OnX is pretty appealing.

    270 WSM sizing issues

I had a friend who had the same problem with his WSM. It appeared to be a minimum dimension chamber and a maximum dimension die. I told him there were two logical solutions to his delima: 1) buy a small base die 2) have a machinist remove about 0.050" off the bottom of his sizing die. He chose #2 because of expense and it solved his problem. I don't like that solution though since you can't control your shoulder bump and it will affect you case life. Good luck

    270 WSM sizing issues

If he is FL resizing (i.e. bumping the shell holder) and it is still tight in his chamber how will a head space gauge help?

It appears $2350 for NIB is too high. What price point are you hoping for? I still might sell my personal scope. free bump
