These are my favorites because I got them during dental school.

Well I shot this buck Nov of 2005. Here he is completed. Pretty happy ears look a little too pink for me, but I'm not a taxidermist.

My dad tells of a story that him and his buddy were in the woods and they ran upon a small bull elk that was blind and kept running into things, it ran into a fence around a tank and so they jumped on it and held it down for a few minutes and then let it go. Then there is the stories of the fastest horse in the white mountains that cowboy Bigler rode, they chased down and roped an antelope.

I've seen a couple. One was between Heber and Show Low around my parents place. I went to get a camera and of course it wasn't there anymore. It was a femal wearing a radio collar, I called G & F , they said that she had wondered from the blue pack in 27. I think I would have more trouble identifying her from a husky or other domestic dog, than a coyote.

Thanks for the replies... The buck on the left was my first ever hunting the great Coues so even though he is small I had to get him mounted. Eagle Eye- I don't have my score sheet out but I think he was 13 4/8ths wide give or take some. Crotalus- No I didn't do the taxidermy myself Chris Williams from Trappers Den in Lakeside did. Jason I sure hope to add a few others to it soon.

I learned that Mexico has some big bucks. and the 36 units have more illegals than I care for. I also learned that sometimes a lion will let you shoot TWICE at them and you should go home if you miss both times. I learned that I get the fever more with lions than with a Coues buck. Thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Nice job- I've seen that ugly mug somewhere....seems like everytime I saw you last year was at a funeral. Glad to see you back something you love. I'd love to see some finished pics. Keep us in mind with your writing also.. I have always enjoyed your work. Houston
