Cousins Git-er-Done on a Youth Hunt

What a great looking time, nice story and pics and great bucks.. Gino that is a good looking heeler, glad you got your pup.
  2. Well I thought I never would get into trail cameras, just didn't excite me, but when we moved to Payson we kept hearing pigs in our back yard so I decided to buy a camera and practice in my back yard. Here are the first pictures I've got.. It seems like I get pigs every other night or two. I got to get me a few more of these and get them up in one area I glassed up a couple of bucks, I guess we will see. azpackhorse-I didn't even get it set out in the woods and it is addicting.

    Long Sleeve Shirts are in!!

Well I bought mine from Amanda down at Sportsmans. I love it feels and looks very good. I wear it often out scouting but since I'm usually by myself I don't have any pictures yet.. Here is a couple of my boys and me at home, one saturday they saw me put mine on and of course we all had to wear them.

    You Catch Anything?

I get that asked about every weekend when I get back to work.. I belive most people have some sort of personal experience with "catching" fish, so they just think harvest means catch I guess.

    information on 36 A

I've hunted it quite a bit.. Unless you know someone with a key the gates are all locked. The mine used to be open but the last few years they had it shut down because someone shot a hole in the window of a mine loader, so they blocked access. It is tough steep country. I used to walk miles up those roads to glass everyday. Lots and lots of does but buck numbers have been down the last few years. There is good buck taken out of there every year but IMO it is not as common place as it used to be. The north side of the sierrita mtns have relativly few deer, i've glassed up a few lions the southern part has the most illegal traffic, lots of illegals and trash. Good luck with your hunt. The black hills have some good deer numbers but alot of people in the early hunts.

    World Record Bull

Rembrant- Shipley bull was 502 gross, from San Carlos, I'm sure a bunch of farm bulls are over 500.. This spider bull has been hunted for a couple of months already but finally was finished off. What a stud bull
  13. Hey Amanda we just found out that we will be down there for a funeral so I'll probably stop by with the boys for a while. Houston

    Same Sex Marriage

I read most of this and since I have a minor in Religious studies I must be qualifed to answer, but I won't, I just found this part of Stanely's post funny. If we all start to be gay this sure won't be an issue.

    Hound pups.

Jade I keep looking at these pups just don't have the room or time right now.. I had a pretty hard time last month with our Queensland I had to put down. I have a picture of my black and tan when I was young, what memoreis, hounds are alot of work but man is it fun. Good luck finding some good homes. I'm sure any dog from the Goodman family will be a great dog and has good upbringing, wish I was in the market.

    Good Scouting/hunting weekend

J, Nice pictures.. that bull looks real cool. He has pretty good tops and good look at that main beam length it drops down and adds some inches.. He is not a huge bull (looks to be a really big 5x5) is that left side only have 5 points? but even as a mainframe 5x5 I bet it is isn't an inch under 320, his mass is one of the only things really lacking. Nice job, sure a pretty bull.

    ATTN: 3c Hunters

Hello all hunting in 3c this fall. (below is an unashamed advertisement) My dad recently bought the convenience store located between Heber and Show Low, used to be called Spears but is now Coles Livery. Cole is my dad and a great guy who is trying to give the community a decent place to buy fuel and small amount of groceries. He has been struggling with federal regulations and financing in trying to get fuel back in the area..If your in the area stop by say hi, support the area if you can.. He hasn't gotten out in the woods much this year, but he was born and raised in Clay Springs and has been there and hunted for 50+ years so he knows the area, the roads and a little about everything going on. It is family run business so you might run into my mom or brothers, forgive them as clerks they are trying. They have basic groceries and camping items, and a few snacks, but no alcohol or tobacco, sorry.. Good luck on all the hunts, stop by and say Hi. I'll be there off and on for the next few months with my own archery deer tag, helping on a few elk hunts and a late season deer tag. Any Questions PM or email me. See ya this weekend. Thanks, Houston
