Great looking buck and awesome job and very neat start to finish. I think it looks great but definitely a different pose on that buck than I normally like.

Guess the score guesses so far

Thanks for putting that all together, lots of guesses so far.

    first or second week

DB hit the nail on the head. Even though there is a bunch more bugling and rutting activity the second week, once the big bulls are cowed up, it is tough to call them away. I will do exactly what Ron is suggesting except I live and work where my tag is so I will schedule patients from 10-3 and hunt mornings and evenings, during the first full week.

    Outdoorsman Set up

I have both and the outdoorsman is better, but I'm not sure if it is worth the extra 600+ dollars, but I didn't have to pay full price though.

    Need help in Multiple units!!!

If you go down the 1194 road until it hits 432. Turn left travel it for 2.3 miles. Park your truck take a quad up this little two-track for 2 1/2 miles. Hike to the west and there is a pretty cool hidden spring that I have a camera on, I swear I have six bucks over 100+ one pushing 125. I'll send you pics. Just above the spring to the east is a little knoll that you can glass miles of prime habitat that doesn't get touched. Good luck let me know if you need any help I'll be down there Gino

    Dead Head Elk

So by the time you shot your first bull, you were "experienced" I love this attitude. If your not really experienced you have no business hunting. haha. We all started somewhere BTW great find, cool looking bull.

    Which Bow Sight?

Gino I agree about the exposed fibers on my SDP. It became so bad that I carried a bit of superglue to cover the backside of my pins so they wouldn't rot and fall out. The enclosed fibers is the best reason to spend the money on Axcell.

    Eastern AZ Mule Deer MoNStER

    Great looking buck. nice job

    Which Bow Sight?

I have the SDP by spott hogg and really liked it, but just updated to a new axcell sight custom with 9 pins, maybe a bit much

    Elk Scouting

One thing scouting does is get your blood pumping. I have the 3c tag and most of the bulls change habits and location before season starts but all summer it keeps me motivated to keep shooting, practicing and excited to be chasing bulls. Oh and when you get to see a couple real good bulls on camera or something, it just makes it that more exciting. Like was said before, learn the unit and find lots of cows.

    Suggestions when traveling to Mexico

The more of you that stay home will hopefully drive the price down for my coues tags. If I could get a decent tag every few years I would not be so quick to go down, but I have no worries yet. I've never been to Africa but I feel safer going to Mexico hunting than flying across the pond.

Like my dad says, if it hurts to hit your head, quit hitting your head. That goes for smith or shipper

    Check out my little fish!!!!

Great looking fish, my wife and I caught a 100lb sailfish on our honeymoon over 10 years ago, I can't even imagine how exciting a fish that big would be bringing it in. Nice job

    I've done it! I'm a ship jumper!!

Well Gino, that hoyt sure is a shooter, but still has a bit more hand shock and noise than the z7 IMO. I still can't decide which one I like best. The customer service and warranty on Hoyt is sure nice, being close and all, but I've had no complaints with my Mathews.
