Great job on some awesome ducks. Just like any hunting be it, coyotes,fox, elk, ducks anything brought into a call is a rush. I need to dust off my dekes and waders, time to hit the water.

Thanks for all the kind words, extremely gratifying to finally get it done. Yes it is two of us out in the open. Over the years I've learned two things. 1. Use every ounce of cover 2. Go slow and #3 I'll add have a little bit (or a lot) of luck. Hopefully Part II coming up soon.

I can't imagine catching one in a live trap...they were hard enough to catch in a leg hold...

The 85% let off mod is IBO at way under 330. Like 310 or something.. It is the 65% that is 330. Not much of a performance bow, but I bet it is smooth.

I've had problems with the scopes.. I won't get one. I depend on the repeatability... I don't have a problem with the binos.

I use clay at mogollon...not only is he an artist he is a true businessman and it will be done when he predicts it to be done whether you've paid it all off or just the required monies until finished....I hated having my animals at a taxidermist who finished one mount before another because he needed the money.

I will never condone anything that resembles a poacher or poaching but IF and its a big IF the person could not find a bull for a few days, the meat would be spoiled and nothing to take but some antlers, so it doesn't have to be a poaching incident, but that is unlikely, because the last bull hunt in 3c ended weeks ago.

I glass into the shade during midday. Sometimes that is the north or north East/West side of a mtn, sometimes it is a draw or tree, or rock. All depends on where I am.
