Is there an easy way to clean and skin squirrels?

I didn't watch the video but if you do it right away it is a piece of cake, if you wait it is a nightmare. -
Bullet trajectory question
WHT_MTNMAN replied to bonecollector777's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
There are many more people with much more knowledge than me but I usually just assume that it is me just having one of the many variables (sight height, BC, etc...) inputed incorrectly. At that point I adjust my velocity to match my real world shots and verify at all ranges. I can then input this data into almost any program and adjust for conditions. -
Awesome mount and Ram! Looks great up on the wall.

I've never had to worry about my own kids but the neighbors kids have destroyed the face on a bobcat rug and dropped soccer balls on mule deer mounts, and broke all kinds of antlers.
-
Yeah very tough, not that it matters but it was a local family which makes it more personal to us up here. Prayers for the family.

I had a mule deer in a toggle anchor and a neighbor boy hit it with a ball seemed to be stable but a month later it fell off the wall and broke the skull cap...everything gets studs now...
-
I would hang it just like they did at the clinic on that plywood.....except like Greyghost said use a lag bolt and put it in a stud deep.

I am scouting almost every day from June on, I am a huge advocate of scouting from a far. Even when I come across animals on the road I rarely stop and keep moving so as not to spook them, including does and cows. I never call a bull in anymore and try my best to stay out of their comfort zone. I think someone that has a tag deserves this from me. That being said I love that people are getting out and enjoying this time of year. Im blessed to hear bulls from my bedroom window almost every night and I realize not everyone has that opportunity. I never fault someone from enjoying bugling bulls and calling them up close, BUT if they don't think they are educating them they are sadly mistaken. I think a little common sense goes along way, we are blessed to live in a nation and the State of Az that affords us the luxury of public lands. My .02

They got busted and paid for it...lots of people knew about it, just not all of you young guys.

WOW, some impressive bucks for sure!

Pretty sure Marvin got a scouting package or something, which to me doesn't matter, but evidently to some it makes it less of an accomplishment????? It is a giant buck that took lots of time to kill. Huge congrats Marvin, it is a buck dreams are made of. I am extremely jealous and I love that buck.

I have one the solid color, can't remember off hand what it actually is. I'll be home tonight if you are interested. 4805404445

Stud buck Shelvin, I figured it wouldn't be too long into the hunt before you killed a great buck. Perfect looking buck!

Over the years I've heard of probably hundreds of guys that shoot 210 berger with 90-92 grains of Retumbo. Seems to be a very good load for most factory and custom rifles. I would also look at 215/230 gr if it was me.
