Yeah and I'm just the opposite. I have elk all over my property and spend every Sept listening to bugles, chasing elk etc... I don't have a need to have a elk tag in my pocket to enjoy Sept in Elk country. I want to try and kill big bulls when I get another tag.

Yep has been going for a couple hours. Friends sent me screen shots at 7:45 this morning

I thought I remember it being changed at one point, but wasn't sure. Funny story and not meaning to hi jack the thread but I had a guy run a lion with me and the game warden wanted to be along. They wanted me to shoot it with a .22 mag he had in his pack. I told him It wasn't legal and shot it with my ultra carry .45 that I always had in my truck back then. I always wonder if I was getting set up or if they really didn't know I couldn't shoot it with a rimfire.
-
Its been a long time since I even cared about javelina. Can you shoot one with a rimfire in Az now? I know in the past you could not

How much land do you have to own to get one. That would determine if I'm for or against. J/K I'm against the idea.

So I've always went to a gym as needed to lift etc...but most of my cardio has been running at home, outside, but the older I get the winters are killing me. I hate running at 15 degrees and my knees are starting to feel it. I'm thinking about getting a peloton or nordic track for some easier on the knees cardio especially during winter months. Anyone with any pros or cons? Thoughts? I've also thought of an elliptical, curious if any of you have any recommendations or have used either one of those bikes. Thanks

Yeah that is outside to outside, center to center is under 1/2 MOA. Good shooting and looks like the gun shoots well. Good luck with the sale.

This year was a year to remember. Its kind of a long story but I'll try to condense it up a little bit. I posted this on MM so some of you I'm sure have read it. In May I unexpectedly spent 10 days in the Neuro ICU in Mesa with bleeding on my brain. It came out of nowhere and thankfully stopped on its own. After a bunch of tests and some pretty significant pain and a terribly long recovery I'm doing great. No lingering pain or problems at all. I didn't think I was going to get to hunt at all, but thankfully I got out. Saw some pretty dang good bucks and happened to run into this buck. I made an absolute horrible shot (he either started to run or jumped the string or both right when I shot) Cousin took the live pictures.

Man I sure hope so. We have had a terrible monsoon and now into the winter. We are way overdue for some moisture.

I'm sure he was hoping everyone else was thinking the same thing about bp so he could draw. See if it works out for him

My buddy set us up for a trip down to Ol Mx and I'm getting pretty excited to catch some big bass. The older I get the more I'm getting back into fishing. It is much easier physically than hiking the mountains. Haha.

Thanks, I was very happy.

Covid, whos had it and how are you recovering?
WHT_MTNMAN replied to CatfishKev's topic in The Campfire
Yeah I am to a certain extent. Especially for geriatrics and compromised individuals. I got COVID shots 1 and 2 and that was it back in 2020.. The crazy thing is I got COVID a month after being in the ICU and healing was 10x worse than the healing from the ICU. Makes me think I should have gotten the updated Covid shots. I probably would have been better off. -
Congrats Nash!! Beautiful Ram and looks like lots of fun!

Awesome youth hunts buddy!! Congrats to you guys.
-
Great job!! super buck and tough conditions make tough people. I love it!
-
Some big deer, very cool. Congrats to you both
-
It is a giant buck congratulations!! I don't think very many people know how to score properly and so a normal online 105" is mis represented as a 110 or 115" buck. You truly killed a great looking buck.
-
SOOO WHATS THE UPDATE?????
-
This is why pictures are impossible to judge on. I knew that recliner was probably 40" wide and even though it didn't look like it the buck was most likely over 30" outside and with 8" bases, but even I looking at all of those things was hesitant to say he was over 180" Giant frame on that buck for sure.
-
Really??? 8" is giant!! thats awesome. giant mass with some extras. Sure big enough to shoot. very cool
-
Tell your wife congrats!!! good job to both of you. sweet buck
