This is a really nice buck congrats to the hunter and guides but amanda why was the last post of this erased with everybody crying and complaining let the hunter and guides see what people really think of them and how they judge people and what they stand for on this site Congrats to the hunter again

ok i have 2 boxes of berger vld hunter bullets 270 130gr 100 in each box i picked up the wrong 1s and sportsman wouldnt take them back cause i opened them will sell both boxes for 60$ origanly 41 a box p.m. me if intrested

Check out jay scotts outdoors blog he has a gut less deboning video on there its good stuff no saw needed and those piranna knives are no joke and do the job well i did 2 cow elk and 1 coues before having to change my blades...

With those groups I wouldn't worry much about more speed. Do you know how far off the lands the bullets are seated? Thanks, Mike my max is 3.388 i just loaded some at 3.350 and 3.360 we will see how they shot tommorow

lookn at reloading 300 wsm was leaning towards berger vld or the barnes ttsx

Been doin alot of reloading these past few weeks for the 270 win after researching about the bergers 140gr vld ive been trying them with different loads of powders and different c.o.a.l and seem to have responed really well with imr 4350 53Gr. cci br2 primers and the c.o.a.l at the Max 3.340. My 3 shoot groups were at .4 of an inch and my 5 shoot group was at .7 both at 100 yards at 200 yards they were both at 1 inch. I havnt tried goin up in my powder grains yet according to Berger im only at 94% powder capacity and pushn 2955 fps. other powders i have used are Ram Hunter, H4831sc and Ram Big Game thanks for all the info u all have posted gonna try the Barnes TTSX next will keep u posted

Powders and Primers what u guys using for long range

I like my ridge runners they are good boots light weight and comfy used them on a 8 mile hike first day out the box and had no issues with them at all they replace my 5 year old danners

gonna do 3 loads gonna try the berger vlds 155gr the hornady ttsx 150gr and the tsx 150gr out of a 300wsm with a 24in barrel see which performs the best on paper....

lookn into loading 300 wsm 270 and a coyote 243 load

Lookn at Buying my 14 year old daughter a new gun was leaning toward a tikka 243 wsm or 243 is the 243 wsm recoil that much of a difference then the regular 243 my daughter is about 5'0" and 100lbs soaking wet she was using a reg 270. win but is flinching way to much any input would be helpful and this will be used for coues mulie and pig thanks guys...

gonna try a few 110 ttsx and some 130 see which 1 the 300wsm likes on paper then ill try the bergers

for coues only out to at least 600 yards be in a 300wsm
