I love mine! Not sure what it would take for me to consider replacing it. Mind if I ask what you got that is replacing it?

POST PICS OF YOUR RELOADING SETUPS
metau replied to AxisWorks LLC's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
It's not that much, just a box or lb every time I go in if it is in stock and is part of a load I have. Been doing it that way for several years now. Adds up after a while though. I am starting to get low on bullets now that I have my Dillon. That thing cranks them out crazy fast. -

Not much, but it is indoors with the A/C. -
May finally take advantage of my wife's timeshare in Cabo and get a week of fishing in. Also going to put forth a good effort for deer here in GA if I am still here.

Bruno's had some two weeks ago, and much cheaper then that.

Tomorrow morning, my company is flying me out to GA for a large project about an hour east of Atlanta. I will be out there anywhere from 2-14 months. Been checking out the GA DNR website to see what the hunting and fishing opportunities will be like. Turkey season starts in less then two weeks! Anyways, it looks like I will be staying in the town of Covington, and was wondering if anyone has ever been out there hunting or fishing. Any references or areas to check out would be much appreciated. I'll be coming home every few weeks, but that still leaves a lot of down time, and figured what better way then to spend it then out in the woods! Thanks.

Shoot the bow and see if it is worth $250 to you. If I shot it and did not like it, I wouldn't pay anything for it.

(SOLD) Lincoln SA-200 Pipeline Welder on trailer. (SOLD)

Those things are beasts. We had two at our training center that were very, very old, yet ran smooth as silk. I loved laying down beads with those rigs. Will pass on to some guys at work, it won't last long. Wish I had the cash myself.- 2 replies

I've got a comped night in Sedona you two could use for the honeymoon!

Would love to find some of these in .30cal. Saw my first batch of .277 LR AB's last week at Bruno's.

There was a really old 1886 listed on here a few days ago.

Bruno's has some in stock a week or so ago when I was last there. If you like Lapua brass, that is.

Glock 30S loaded with 230gr HST's. Everyday, everywhere. It's not a choice, but a way of life.

whats the coolest thing (or animal) you have caught on a trail camera?
metau replied to PatrickJr's topic in The Campfire
Several years ago a young couple decided to glass across the valley while sitting in front of my camera. After an hour of glassing, I guess they had not seen anything(including my camera), because they decided that hunting was no longer the priority..... -
Lucky for him, there is no law against being stupid.

Sportsmans at I17 had some 1lb bottles of IMR 4350 left when I was there a few hours ago.

Sportsmanship at I17 has two 250ct boxes of 300gr hybrid OTM tacticals on the shelf in front of me.

If he felt his life was threatened, then he was more than justified. Only thing I'd have done different was had a round in the chamber, and had it more accessible. That amount of time can easily be the difference between life and death. Could this had been avoided? Of course! Could he had fired a warning shot into the ground or thrown a snowball at it? He could have done that. I'm sure it was a great day for ice fishing, and he could have been doing that too. But it is what it is. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Who are we to judge his actions when he felt his life was threatened? I am curious though, how many have every had their life threatened enough to draw down & shot the threat? Were you justified in drawing? Were you justified in shooting? Could you have done anything different? I would be shocked if someone answered yes to the first question and not to the next three.

I pass by several stores in town each day on my 60+ mile commute home that may have some in stock. I could pick some up for you. How many are you wanting, and any brand preference?

POST PICS OF YOUR RELOADING SETUPS

Only 3 benches posted? Figured there would be quite a few more with as many reloaders we have here. Guess I need to clear my bench off and take some pics this weekend. -
The best call is the one you can use the best and have the most confidence in. For me, it was the aforementioned hoochie mama when I was starting, until I learned it was an elk alarm instead of an elk call. Now, I have several dozen calls. My go to calls are diaphragm calls, specifically the single reed cow/calf calls. Those are the ones I have the most confidence and consistency with. My best advice would be to get several single reed diaphragm calls, a calling CD, and put your drive time to/from work to good use. It may take a while, but keep at it and soon enough, it will just happen. Once you make it into the field, keep in mind that if you are close enough to knock an arrow, you better have the call in your mouth.

Welcome to the site, Mike. Wish I had some info on the rez hunt, but I don't. I might suggest changing changing the title of this thread to reflect it being about hunting there, as there are several members here who hunt it regularly or are tribal members themselves. Best of luck on your hunt.

FYI, that's not NIB. I just drooled all over it!

Well, since only two youth posted, I've decided to spilt the gear between each of them, as there is plenty to share. Mr. Smith and CouesPursuit are throwing a few things into the mix, so much kudos to them. All said, there are 2 dozen duck decoys, a pair of calls, 5 decoy bags, a pair of waterproof gloves, a hand warmer pouch, and several dozen regular and XL goose decoys, being a decent mix of floaters, shells and full size. Hunter and Grady, congrats to you both. If you can give me till next weekend, I'll have everything ready for the two of you, including the stuff from the other guys as well. I look forward to hearing some good stories from you two in the future, and welcome to the site.

Still looking for some.
