Yes, you can use as a utility trailer also but I've never done it.

I got it in 2006

I live in the area and a lot of pigs have moved into neighborhoods due to the lack of water available. Lots of water to be had at night in irrigated yards, not to mentioned all the plants to eat. Try hunting Silverleaf, tons of pigs there! :^)

I have a friend and his son who want to go to New Mexico for a rifle cow elk hunt for the fathers' 60th birthday this year. Has anyone done a hunt like this and have feedback on an outfitter I can recommend?
-
Thanks for the PM's and info. They were really anxious to get this planned and booked a hunt with Kiowa outfitters for $1500 or so for 3 days. I'll post a review after the hunt.

Thanks for the information. We're looking for 2 landowner rifle cow tags with accomodations.

Hunting predators near existing water is good and will help.

Is that a typo on the 2019 3A/C archery bull elk?

I've been out every morning the last 8-10 days and 3C is really heating up. The temps dropped and a few storms have rolled through the last couple of days and it really got the bugling going. I was hearing a lot of bugling on the 300 road last week, but it's everywhere now. Good luck to all those elk hunting, I'm jealous as the rut should be in full swing tomorrow. PM me if you're hunting 3C solo and need someone to call for you.

Be careful driving if you're towing a rig, the wind is howling up here today. There have already been 2 accidents on 260, one looked like a travel trailer was destroyed.

Been in elk camp since April, just no tag this year... BTW, bulls bugling good in 3C this morning, hope the warm temps don't shut them down.

You can start e-scouting now! http://www.njwildlifecam.com/ I have several in-law relatives in NJ and have thought about hunting back there. There are a ton of deer and turkeys, even on the NJ turnpike and parkway. I was going to try to overlap a turkey hunt with a deer hunt but haven't looked into the specifics. One of my relatives lives in Sussex county and shoots 2 or 3 does a year and a buck only if it's bigger than one he already has. He also shoots turkeys from his back porch, archery of course. Also, I think they just opened up the black bear seasons/regulations since they are a problem with the "city folks".

Also, fish the Animas behind the high school.

I stayed at the Junction Creek campground just outside of town. Great campground, close to Durango and good fishing in Junction Creek. Took a dip in the local hot springs each night before retiring for the evening and slept like a rock.

I grow habanero's, chili's and bell peppers in bucket planters. I built mine the same as in the video, but use food grade buckets from Lowes and better plastic for the cover. I imagine you could grow just about anything in these and there are some systems out there for setting up a linked watering system. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AlWGQIMHok

Wash next to house on Tatum and Dynamite and a dead one on Cave Creek about Beardsley.

Ran into this bull last night while javelina hunting. I've been accused of shooting the first bull I see, but probably would not pass on this 20 yard opportunity.
-
Over the counter archery. It's a tough hunt, not as much glassable area as the desert and fewer numbers, just takes a lot of walking and a little luck. They also seem to be more nomatic up here for some reason.
-
Yeah, no tag for me the best I can do is a javelina. I swear I've seen this bull come back to the same little draw 3 years now and have never seen any archery guys in there. Maybe he's the broodstock for 3C now.

They're moving off the res in 3C. Tough to find them right now with the full moon, but they're here.

Can anyone tell me what kind of rattle snake this is? Almost stepped on it, not very big ~2.5ft and near the 300 rim road ~7k ft.

Early Archery Elk 2 Residents 3BP and 7BP, group application. 1st and 2nd Choice 3A/3C Thanks!!

Baikal over and under, .223 and 12 gauge using #4 buckshot. Got it all covered with this setup, killed coyotes at 5ft out to 200yds with the same gun. Picked it up at Lookout Mountain Outfitters on Cave Creek and Bell for a great price.

Here's some old meeting minutes from an ADA meeting with Gilstrap present. The ADA is really "in bed" with AZSFW. ADA Meeting Minutes
