Big- shot f-class. it is awesome. i learned a lot . it was fun . i even won a couple of times. i shot against some savage rifles. if what you end up with is like a model 12 lrpv that is one of the good ones. there is a site just for savage shooters. the advantage is that you can rebarrel a savage yourself i believe. nore info on longrangehunting and savageshooters. do you know the match schedule??

if not a .243 then get a sendero or tikka t3 in 25-06

If had already shot a 218" buck; i am sure i would just use a vx3 2.5X8 leup . they are lighter.

how long are you there? there is a bunch of info on the idaho game and fish site. 40, 000 permints only 240 kilt. how lucky do i feel??

do you reload? i would clean the barrel real good and see how it shoots now. i am a big fan of both the 30-06 and the 6.5-284. 50.5 varget and a 168 berger is my go to load for 30-06. 030 off. excellent for long range or short.

cannon- you can hunt bear and scout. those first three are some very nice basic rifles. love to see apic of the supergrade. if you go out before your season and see some you will see what kind of shots you will get . coues are a dinky target. my shots are alway futher than i would really like. i shoot 6.5-20 and one has an 8.5-25 . my preference.

Try to wait as long as possible. then put in for the leftovers to make sure they are all taken.

you need to call them into a range you are comfortable with. pratice shooting so you are confident and kno w your limitations. . i called in 18 one day for a guy and his son. some close as 10 yards. they never cut a hair. knee deep in brass though.
