    Trail cam lock box

I have made a few myself, mostly one offs. It depends what your time is worth but for the money I think these are an excellent box. http://myownstore.camlockbox.com/Product_l...ID=526&pg=1 I have only used the heavy duty models which are built from 10 gauge steel and they are stout. Just keep in mind if someone wants your camera they will get it anyway. the best security in the world won't help if you put it out in a high traffic area such as a water hole next to a road, I would try to conceal it as well as possible, and sometimes that doesn’t even work. There are several companies now that are making much smaller cams which allow you to hide them a little better than some of the older models.

Another Stolen Trail Camera In 23

I just wanted to get the word out there to everyone after hearing about another member here who recently lost a tree stand and camera. From what I can determine my trail camera was stolen sometime between Oct. 30 and Nov. 8 I had a Bushnell Trophy cam in a heavy duty camlockbox with two python cables and a carbide lock, whoever did this had the right tools for the job. My brother also had a Moultrie camera grow legs in the same general area around the Oct. 1. I do believe that this was the work of the same individual because of the proximity between my cam and GonePointing’s gear that was stolen. It is a sad day when you can’t even trust your “fellow hunters” to keep their hands off what doesn’t belong to them, although I wouldn’t even put this person in the same class as most honest hunters that I know.
