I am looking for some help with general areas to start with in unit 37b. Not familiar with the unit and will be taking my wife on her first hunt. Any help would be appreciated.

Work sent me a curve ball, sent me to flagstaff to work. I'll be there for bowhunt opening day and weekend. Going to make the best of it by hunting before and afterwork. Don't know the area at all! Got some topos n plan on scouting wen and thur. Would appreciate any help/tips for area!

Never bowhunted before, This will be the first time I have tried unit 24b. Any tips or advise would be appreciated!

I agree couse deer very hard to harvest even with a Rifle, now getting close with a bow I'm expecting To be very tough. The reason I am bowhunting is for the deg of difficulty involved in getting closer than 100 yards! I would never take a shot if I was past my comfortable range.

I know that's why I need sum more practice I'm very comfortable out to 50 yard. but i feel skechey @ longer than that distance!

Lots of deer there don't know how close you can get to the boarder any more.the closer you are to the boarder the beter. Tres belotas ranch. Have hunted that area last couple of years have gotten n seen very nice bucks come out of there. The market in arivaca has pictures and dates of deer that have been taken out of there if your prescouting the area you should check it out.

I was kind of expecting long shots. But 78 yard seems far I'm Gona need more practice then. I use a nikon range finder it hasn't failed me yet. Thanks for your tips

Thanks for the advice, the area is very different compared to 36b I normally rifle hunt.

i have hunted down there for the last 3 years you can camp off ruby rd just below warsaw canyon. there area lot of people camped around there. u should be ok. i never saw anything crazy down there just deer!

Yeah I looked @ azgf info and have look around those areas but no deer sign anywhere.
