Not warmer, but in my opinion more "comfortable". I just like being off the ground. We would put a buddy heater in it and were quite comfortable. Plus all the other benefits.

I don't mind the noise(I confess I am often making the noise) but I can't STAND when people don't clean up their mess. It's a character issue and not a holiday issue with those that behave that way.

Do any of you or your significant other shoot a crossbow? My wife has two bad shoulders but wants to bow hunt. Looking for suggestions for her.

We went in looking for the 320 as you had suggested, but she liked the shorter Dagger. Other than that they are identical. Either way she would have been happy. I was going a different direction until you guys helped. She actually LOVED the skeletonized/tactical look of the Mission. Never would have guessed it. I have to go by the Deer Valley shop now to get her fixed up with bolts, wax, extra string, scope, pulley...blah blah $$$$$$$$ Then she has to "customize" it with paint and vinyl ( she ruined a perfectly good benelli a few years back by making it look like a doyly. lol) Then she has to PRACTICE. THEN we get to hunt! Unfortunately she is not hardcore like us and will take a little time to get her in the filed after the critters. I would have it out there TOMORROW.

Thanks guys for all the help. We were out looking at some crossbows while in Utah and she pulled the trigger on a Mission Dagger. It fit her perfect as she is very short. I was shocked and very pleased when she said she wanted to buy It right then and there. Didn't have to tell me twice. lol Now we just need to get her an elk tag.....
