Hard to say. It has three Is the big buddy overkill for the jumping jack? Hard to say but I don't think so. It has three settings. I have only used it on low, but I have not camped in the "cold" yet. The only reason I used mine at all was for the kids because it was "chilly" and raining. At low it was very comfortable (even though it was only 50 outside). When I used it in my popup it was definitely not too much. Popup was only slightly larger than jumping jack. I have used the little buddy and I do like the big buddy better fwiw.

I have run my big buddy in both a popup and now my jumping jack (thanks Andy!). From my research and personal experience I think there is plenty of air movement and oxygen to not have to worry about the catalytic type heaters. With that said, I also crack a few vents "just i case". No fun waking up dead.

When you find one I recommend getting the long hose and running it off a 20 lb tank. won't run out at 4 am........

I have never washed mine. Aired it out and disinfected it a few times is about it. Always worried the insulation will bunch up. Could you redneck wash it on the line?

I have zero experience with those specific binos, but the meostar glass is top tier. I would have a hard time believing the older swarovski is better than the newer HD meopta. From my experience the meopta hd is every bit as good as the swaro hd. I have swaro 15s and a meostar spotter.

I know how you feel man. I won the lottery and can't decide to take a lump sum or payments. It is driving me nuts not knowing. You guys just don't understand how frustrating it is not knowing! My life sucks...

WAY too small for 4b... I was in 4b this weekend tooling around with the kids and I kicked up several dozens of bulls in the 380+ class.

I only have experience with my rhino. It is a 2009 and we have beat the CRAP out of it (and has been rolled a few times and had frame supports broken from "impacts"). I can take it anywhere and IT has never let me down. Others have let IT down with poor driving choices though...lol I don't know if they are bad or good but mine has been a warhorse. I actually drive it like I stole it and it keeps on going....

This isn't a first person issue for me, it was more just a topic for conversation. I do have kids in other states but not under this scenario. Interesting takes on it though.

So hypothetically....... If one of my kids goes away to college (out of state) can I continue to put them in as "residents"?

Ok, now to add a wrinkle to it... What if college student gets his/her drivers license in that other state for whatever reason? Same answers as above?
