CJ, no specific budget. Just seeing recommendations and if performance validates higher price. I have ZER0 experience with this cartridge. Strictly a hunting rifle. So for me spending $1000 more to gain 1/4 inch of accuracy might not be worth it. But I still want something "nice", not a bargain rifle or entry level. So maybe it is worth it....lol I am not a "gun guy" so I appreciate all the input and advice.

The blk has been my main predator rifle for many years. I have even taken a lion with it. The terrain I hunt is tight and rarely have a shot past 50 let alone 100 yds. My sbr blk is perfect for me for how/where I hunt. For me though, I would never hunt with subs. Not for predators anyway. Too many people have tried with too much failure or marginal success for me to do it in good conscience. In an AR platform the subs just aren't that much quieter to validate the difference in performance compared to supers. Unless performance is secondary to suppression. Just not worth it to me. Just my opinion.

for those of you that have windshields, what dobyou have and what are the pros and cons of that windshield?

i am mostly trying to decide between glass and the poly full windshields. with the poly our concern is scratching from branches and cleaning dust off it. with the glass our concern is how much vision is blocked by the frame and rock chips. we are using it as a full time hunting vehicle in winter and want the wind blocked. In spring/summer the windshield will come off most likely thoughts?

If you are going to be in your vehicle, get a weboost cell booster. There is "almost" no place in Az that I cannot get at least enough signal to text. Usually I have enough to email and access data.
