I hate lowes because of this. I tried to buy a table saw that they had advertised but they were out of stock across the entire country. They continued advertising it for 3 weeks.

Somebody was doing some CYA after they realized they overstepped their authority and violated your rights.

In my work I deal with them almost daily. They have their purpose, but if poorly managed they can definitely have a Nazi complex.
