Not that kind of map. Or maybe... My wife is doing a "project" where she is framing a map of the area around our cabin to show trails etc. She wants it to be "detailed" but not necessarily a topo map. Anybody have an upclose image of a flatline map they can pm me so I can see what that looks like? Any other ideas for a map? This is to be a good size wall hanger type thing.

Be sure to set up lots of game cams. Find every water hole and put up a cam. I hear a big pile of snickers works well to draw them in also. When the season roles around get out there with your hoochie momma and they will come running. As for a bow and set up, any 30 caliber will do.

offered me ammo. I told him to send me toilet paper and excedrin.

I'm a real estate Broker. So far there is no REAL indication(fear mongering aside) that the market will change due to this issue. Most people understand that this is a temporary thing and are not financially panicking. Once foreclosures and evictions are allowed to go through, there may be a brief period of adjustment, but overall I do not see much change. Personally, I hope the market crashes a bit so I can pick up more homes. Just being selfish though. I am also quite happy if the market stays strong. Az is historically not tied to the rest of the nations ups and downs as we have good weather. Everyone wants to move to good weather.

Youth squirrel hunt question?
AzDiamondHeat replied to Couzer's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Yes, you can take them IF you are a resident with a hunting license. Hunters ed requirement is for the big game tags, not small game or fur bearer. Arizona residents and non-residents under the age of 10 may hunt without a license (except when hunting big game). They must be accompanied by a licensed person age 18 or older. Arizona residents and non-residents ages 10 to 17 must purchase a Youth Combination Hunting and Fishing License -
You guys need to end this and move your drunken ramblings over to the virus thread. We need not let that one get derailed if we want to hit the mystical hundred page mark.

Again....MATH For the record: "The CDC estimates that so far this season there have been at least 22,000 deaths, 36 million flu illnesses, 370,000 hospitalizations. The 2019-2020 influenza outbreak is MODERATE to LOW in overall severity." That is WITH a vaccine! So when are we shutting down the country and throwing away the Constitution and Bill of Rights for this? If it weren't for the Media and the political weaponization creating the hysteria, would everyone be flooding the hospitals wanting to be checked for corona because they have the sniffles? You stated "Its your right to ask these questions and its still your right to practice your freedoms." This is the part that SCARES me. You are marching to the beat of the governments drum. Do I REALLY have that freedom right now? Seems to me that the government is doing a practice run at communism. They are saying who can work and where we can go. That doesn't sound like "freedom" to me. A very appropriate line from Star Wars: "And this is how Democracy dies...to thundering applause." For complete disclosure, I am VERY far from the tin hat wearing government conspiracy type. But I am ANGRY that the citizenry is so willing to give up it's freedoms. I am ANGRY how quick we have been to punish EVERYONE out of fear that a FEW(mathematically speaking) might die. If those FEW are afraid THEY need to be responsible for themselves. Those FEW who are immune-compromised or otherwise vulnerable to this virus are ALSO vulnerable to the FLU! Do NOT punish me and my family for what MIGHT happen to someone else. End of rant. Carry on my friends.

Yet the mortality percentage is going DOWN, which was my point. All other numbers are going up both as the nature of ANY virus as well as the indisputable fact that as more tests are conducted more people will be found to be infected, even those who have shown NO SYMPTOMS. Again, cast a wider net and you will catch more fish. You are arguing against math to push an agenda. Is the virus bad? Of course it is. Is it worth shutting down our country, taking away our freedoms and destroying lives and our economy? A resounding NO! FREEDOM should be just that. I should have the freedom to expose myself and possibly die and YOU should have the freedom to stay in your house and quit your job and protect YOURSELF from EVERYTHING that can kill you. Oh, but don't look up deaths from home accidents while you sequester yourself, it might cause a panic and cause a worldwide ban on domiciles. Let me know when the Corona virus numbers surpass the FLU numbers. Then I will acquiesce and admit that I was wrong. Until then, I will err on the side of FREEDOM.

Not completely accurate. The reason everybody was so "terrified" of this virus (other than the media driving the hysteria) was because in the begging the mortality rate was perceived to be MUCH higher than it actually is/was. Now with more people being tested that percentage is "normalizing". Those with "symptoms" who are being tested has also increased due in part to the availability of tests and the fact that so many more people THINK they have it now and want to be tested. Again, throw a wider net you catch more fish. It is just math. It would be the same with ANY communicable disease. Still no reason to persist in driving the hysteria.

Woody, you GOT to pay attention. THAT was DANG funny if you have been stuck at home and reading all the inane threads that have been going on here lately.
-
Another variable that few are talking about is the actual number of people who are being tested now vs before. The virus is not necessarily SPREADING faster now, it is being tested MORE. More tests mean more chances of positive result. Even those who showed no symptoms are being counted as "infected"(because they are) but would have never known had they not taken the test. I think it was already fairly prevalent just nobody knew they were infected with this death sentence(because the symptoms were so mild). Now EVERYBODY thinks they have it and are happily giving up their freedoms because of it.

Super cool. Wait until you have one BEHIND you at 30 yds. Or above.....

Does anyone know of the rim road is open? if closed, when does it typically open?

Evidently I was social distancing before it was cool. My wife pointed out that absolutely NOTHING in my life has changed in the last month. Not because I am being careless, but just because this was ALREADY how I am. Not sure whether to be proud or sad. Actually I still just don't care. Lol. Introvert power!

Oh, I am in Gilbert if you would like to come by and see how I rigged it up and to see if something like that would fit/work for your rifle.
