started with a cartop carrier, the soft kind. then found out these boxes for pretty close to perfect. bungee on the other side hold the lid so it opens like a trunk.

i have an 1100. its as close to new as you can get. cant remember if I've even shot it but I'm sure I have.

I have the same leupold scope on my 10/22 and I upgraded my trigger with a Brimstone

we used to spend a week every year at lone rock and it can be hit or miss from the beach. lots of waves and boat traffic can be challenging and depending on water level can be shallow. It is certainly worth doing it though and you will likely have success. at the north end of the beach is some cuts that are very good if the water is high enough. this time of year probably not though. But i would definitely try up in that area.

im not a fan. i am not a glass snob but the only experience i have with the vx-6 is poor. my buddy has one on his 6.5manbun and i have shot it quite a bit. just doesnt ever feel clear to me. he may have a "bad" one though. it actually suprises me each time we go out as how bad it looks to ME. i have cheaper scopes amd more expensive scopes that all seem more clear.

never had poi change on any rifle with any can. all mine are direct thread. probably not as convenient as the qd mount but i am never in a hurry swapping cans. only advice i would give other than get 3 is to get 30 cal. can use it on any rifle without having to worry.

Pretty difficult to say why it failed without knowing your process. Most likely culprit though is bacteria. gotta get it frozen or salted right away after skinning. Gotta skin them asap depending on how warm it is outside.

I didn't apply so I got exactly what I paid for. The rest of my family struck out. One should have been in the bonus pass so a little disappointed. Next year......
