Another thread had me thinking about this. Many hunters have a very negative view of "road hunters". Some road hunt out of necessity(age, disability, injury, etc etc) but these are not the guys I am talking about here. I'm curious how people feel about a situation where an otherwise "anti" road hunter type comes across a target of opportunity. Do you consider that "road hunting"? Would YOU take a shot at that "target of opportunity" or is it all about the chase for you?

seems like an ok place to hunt elk so far....

i got 7 you can have...

I am bored and there is nothing like a good road hunting thread to pass the time. and it was more of a "target of opportunity" question than a road hunting question. I just phrased it poorly. Still 24 hrs until I leave for NM and I can't stare at the clock any longer....

That's what it's all about. Congrats to him. And to you for raising him right.

Just a lot of work for a little oil. Just be sure to keep your oil filled. A little oil doesn't hurt unless it is causing other problems.

Thats awesome man. Youre the type of guy that would always be fun to hunt with.

As Curtis said, Your gas leak is most likely from the float valve not seating due to buildup from letting gas sit in the carb. seafoam could clean it but might need a carb kit if the little rings have hardened. very easy to do. You need to check that your differentials are not leaking from somewhere. That oil is very much like engine oil. Given the location it very well could be. Just track the fluid if you can. Fluid can run horizontal or along lines too. So it could be coming from something several feet away from where it is dripping. Engine oil leaks are not uncommon in old bikes. seals just get old. most of the time not worth rebuilding or even putting a new seal on. But for sure try to trace it.

agreed. The fluid is coming from above. What color is the fluid and what does it smell like? Does it taste bitter?

If what Curtis said doesn't work you need a carb kit. Cheap and easy to rebuild.

Cover for Suppressors?
AzDiamondHeat replied to SO I HUNT's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
There are some very nice and very expensive ones out there, but what is your purpose? I have had one of the amazon cheapies(called an airsoft cover) on mine for almost 2 years with ZERO issues. I use mine for hunting only though so it never really gets "hot". Even sighting in once a year with 4 or 5 shots in a couple minutes it does just fine. I doubt it would hold up to a mag dump though. Maybe one. -
It looks like the chick has her phone up taking a selfie of them as they go through. These idiots are the type that get things banned and roads/forests closed. Same mentality as those that look at barricades as "obstacle course features" and not DO NOT ENTER statements.

I just want the table..... Oh. Nice rifle too

Now that my little ones are turned around in their car seats we are looking to add a video player to my GMC truck. I know a lot of guys on here drive chevy/gmc and hope some of you have done this. Anything good out there that I should look at?
-
We already have tablets and laptops but want something more permanent. Momma has a DVD playerbuilt into her infiniti and it is so much better and more convenient having it there and available ALWAYS and not having to mess with straps or plugs or cords. My truck is 2017 denali. I don't care if it is aftermarket or factory as long as it is quality and integrates with the current system. So it seems that not too many guys have done this. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good AV guy in the valley?

Is it still a no-go out in the desert right now?

I would be mad too if I ordered breakfast skillet and they sent me stroganoff. I can't stand stroganoff.

I called Tonto just to see what they had planned and as of now the restriction is scheduled to end on the 30th, but he gave me the impression they were going to extend it. At least he made it very clear it was an option and was being discussed.

Did I screw up? ... brass cleaning
AzDiamondHeat replied to bowhunter-tw's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
That stuff is jacked. Throw it away. (BTW what is your address and when is garage day?) As stated above it is fine. Any tumbler or polishing method will shine it up like new. If you don't care about fugly brass load em up. Call it "custom brass finish" and sell it for big $ to the man bun militia groups.... -
My understanding is 5g and 4g will run concurrent and not a direct replacement. But my understanding has been known to be suspect...
