I wear the 5.11 stretch pants when in the desert and they are very nice. Pretty much indestructible and quite comfortable. I also wear the costco tech pant which is a lightweight stretch pant and they have been awesome as well. For 20 bucks it is hard to find any complaints about them. Never tried the Prana but I have read the costco are similar.

Learn the area. Have a plan abcdefghij. I have never scouted for animals but I do always scout for access points and various terrains. find water, pines, scrubs, canyons. Learn several different areas that have different habitats because you never know what the weather will be like for early archery. Take someone with you who knows how to call. Not essential for success but sure makes it more fun and opens up WAY more options. hunt during the week. Weekends are a circus.

The implication is the idiot hoarders didn't know about it and it was a stupid thing to post. Just as dumb as posting a hunting honey hole which I GUARANTEE you think is s stupid thing to put on the internet. He could have just as easily helped out those on here that are looking for something specific via a personal message LIKE THE REST OF US HAVE DONE. Now there will be nothing there. So who did he really help? I'll take your offense as a complement.

So much for this place being a secret. Now they will have empty shelves just like everyone else.

I have one. As Doug said it is a rebranded Meopta Meopro with some minor exterior differences. They are excellent. Pretty sturdy as well.

The shadows will set them off in the wind.

I use a helical and a tall blazer style. It sounds like a flock of quail going down the lane Loud , yes. But flies straight even in wind. Doesn't matter what head I put on it either. I have never seen an animal jump or move because of the sound of my arrow though. Maybe I wouldn't miss as much if they did move just a little...

Does anyone know where to do a lion check-in around Payson? asking for a friend....
-
I have checked in lions before, just didn't know if there was a place up by Payson. I am back in the valley now so no worries. Thank you all for the suggestions though.

Clarification. Looking for local place to do the azgfd check in. Can that only be done at the azgfd office?

Houston for the win!!! But I will still eat your BBQ. It is tender enough to gum....
-
I would never let Houston anywhere near my teeth. I've seen where his hands have been.

My Name is Nobody

also keep in mind Meopta has 2 lines - MeoPro and MeoStar.

for ME, regular old high quality 15s are just fine. I am not trying to calculate mass or tiny little points though. I have the non HD swaros and a meopta spotter. All good glass for the commoner.

Yup, that is exactly what my wife's portal said. She didn't even put in for antelope though.
