.300 BLK Supersonic Load
AzDiamondHeat replied to AZHunter95's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I've seen(as you probably have) them cut but I have never tried it. I don't hunt with those footballs so has never been an issue. I might cut a handfull this next week and give it a try though. BUT..... I really like that pataaaaaaaaang sound as it cartwheels into oblivion.... -
AND......the #1 most important thing... be sure your handline is tied off or on your wrist. AND keep the line away from fishing poles and tackle. Don't ask how I know.
-
Yes, that too. Stupid auto-correct....

chuckin a net is definitely an artform. PRACTICE a LOT before you go to the lake...lol Also be aware of what is under the water when you throw. I have lost several nest to trees... Shallow fingers and cuts in the banks are great places to find shad and other minnows and usually safe to throw a net. and aerate whatever you are keeping them in. They don't live long without it.

.300 BLK Supersonic Load
AzDiamondHeat replied to AZHunter95's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I load both the 110vmax and 125sst for my 10.5 SBR. Both shoot ridiculously accurate and knock down every pred I have shot them at including a lion. I have a little more confidence in the 110vmax due to better expansion. The go to powder for supersonic blk used to be H110 in the 17-18gr range. Maybe there are new powders and loads but that is what I have been using for many many years. I also load 220s and 190s for subsonic. AA1680 and lil'gun. A pound will last FOREVER. -
I was thinking that same thing. Or it looks like it could be a shaft or adapter type thing.

Now Brady is coming out of retirement...

Just get to the back of the lake on the north side into the big coves. Spent many a day floating back there.

He also staunchly denied being a thief and a poacher. Until he couldn't.

She has the Kali which they don't make anymore but can still be found. She has not tried the valkyrie.

Tr the Badlands. My wife really likes hers. Everyone that has borrowed it liked it too. My wife is very short and it fit her perfectly.

I'll be in 4b in early September chasing booner cows with my old friends from Tucson. And my nephew has a bull tag too so I expect a 400 minimum bull to drop.

yes, i am sooooo anxious for mine to change from "pending" to:

Looking for an EastValley Handyman for fairly consistent jobs

Still waiting for that late flag to overturn the bad call of not getting drawn again. Niece and nephew got elk tags. One early archery and one youth.

I know it is a package deal but if for some reason you break it up I would be interested in the cots and pads.

gonna be a whole lotta lumps of coal....

Same here. I have had some fantastic solo hunts. Being alone in the woods is somewhat ethereal for me(as it is probably for many). But I have found that I enjoy the "camp" just as much as I do the hunt. As I have gotten older I like my trailer and comfy bed. I love a "big camp" with lots of friends(ok not "friends" but people who tolerate me) after a good day hunting. It also makes a bad day of hunting bearable. I have also found that I get more joy out of taking new people and kids hunting than anything else. I would rather fail taking a new person or kid hunting than have success alone. For me it has become more about the experience than the "hunt" or "kill". But I still try very hard to not come home empty handed.
