7mm Rem Mag Factory Ammo RecommendationsPRDATR replied to PRDATR's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing I'll be 70 come the next snow fall. Hope to see another 10 or more if the cancer don't reel me in. The 7 Mag is one of my favorites. Has it's limitations though. Great Coues round.

7mm Rem Mag Factory Ammo RecommendationsPRDATR replied to PRDATR's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing Been shooting Barnes X Bullets since they came out 30 years ago. The 120's with 69.5 gr of RL 22 worked real well from Sonora to Nome for me. Low BC for sure but I never had to shoot anything more than about 300 yards and that's a WAG since we didn't have rangefinders back then.

I was shooting pool at Mesa Billards this afternoon with my son and then went to Mr Shrimp for dinner. I like it when he drives this way I can have a few Dos Equis's.

Not much different than an African Photo Safari.

Contact Doug @ Camerland NY. I have bought scopes from him and he is great to work with. They sometimes have new open box demo models with full warranty at a discounted price. Family operated business that has been around for decades. He posts in the CWT Optics section almost daily.

A very old cartridge that has been around a long time based on the 22 Hornet with the shoulder blown out.

It's also a dove magnet. The 6.0 makes lots of HP.

Do you want to know what color underwear they were wearing too and a picture of their first born? LOL

I don't think the 60fps MV or so difference will matter much in a hunting rifle between the two barrel length's as much as it might if it were an AI.

20+ years ago a very young hunter shot a fawn buck instead of the spike it was with. It was gutted and taken to G&F. They took pictures to use in Hunter Ed classes and that was it. Each case is different.

I have never felt handicapped using KOWA. I had a full sized but sold it during hard times years ago to a guy on here who was goingto use it to spot shots in black powder silhouette. Lots of great options out there. Kowa, Meotpa, Zeiss etc. The biggest thing is to know what to look for and then realize it when you find it. I don't hunt with many people but the two best glassesr I have been around are Big Browns AKA Adam Young and Ernesto Cibrian. I think these two could spot a buck through a coke bottle.
