  1. I have the original trigger in it. When I bought it I sent it off to Gander Mountain and had them put a muzzlr break on it and adjust the trigger to #3's. I have a Timney I am going to put in it. I bought a Z5 off of here maybe 4 years ago ago and I have a custom turret on it that is set up for the Nosler 168 ABLR. LRI FLuted the bolt abouyt five years ago. It's probably about as light as it's going to get at 8#'s empty. It's pretty much on the money out to 400 yards which is the farthest I have shot it on paper. I usually take it to the range a week before a hunt and send one downrange at 100 and 200 yards to confirm nothing has changed. I'm on the hunt for some Nosler Tde Long Range 168 but everyone is out.

That Meme has been getting a lot of airtime the past few days on every subject under the sun. I guess the internet wore the one out with that angry blonde and the cat. Still waiting for one that's remotely funny.
  4. This a Remington 700 I bought in maybe 1992? THe first year they came out with a Stainless Composite and has always been about 3/4". I probably have 400's round through it. I put a Manners stock on it about three years ago but it is the wrong stock for the scope I had on it so I took it off and now it has a McMillan.

    Bartlett Flats

Yes, until 8/2. Due to heavy monsoon storms on July 27 and 28 and associated debris flow, numerous areas of Forest Road 459 (North Lake Road) have been made impassable to vehicle traffic. Crews are working to clear North Lake Road and access is restricted to the intersection of Bartlett Dam Road (Forest Road 19) until the debris can be cleared and the road is made safe for vehicle travel. Motorists will not be able to use North Lake Road while road crews are clearing and repairing the road. In some areas the debris is up to 4 feet deep and local crews worked into the evening hours last night to assist visitors who had become stuck at multiple recreation sites. Crews will continue clearing the road and recreation sites through the weekend and anticipate being able to reopen the road by Tuesday, August 2, however, additional rain is forecasted for the next several days which has the potential to cause further debris flows and may delay the reopening. Road work will impact all recreation sites along North Lake Road and the following sites will be inaccessible until the work is completed: - Rattlesnake Picnic Area - SB Cove Picnic areas and Shoreline - Yellow Cliffs Boat Launch and Picnic Sites areas - Bartlett Flats Shoreline The Jojoba boat launch and nearby shoreline, Bartlett Marina, and the Riverside campground are unaffected by the road closure and remain available for visitors at this time.

You got that right. Sounds like you've bought a tire or two before.

    Anyone else worried yet?

I don't know why people are shaking in their boots. It's not isolated to any specific city or even to a generation. There have always been people of that age group who couldn't answer those questions. Those aren't exactly SAT questions and quite frankly they are more educated in local knowledge. Arizona is a mish marsh of people from other States. I'd bet that 80% of people under 35 are still living withing 50 miles of where they were born.

    Bear rug

Fine looking bear. Much bigger than the one I shot on my birthday in 23S about 22 years ago on another solo hunt. Not to detract from the sale but I would like to hear about the hunt after the sale.

Works for jellyfish too. Not general knowledge for people who don't live by the ocean so don't loose any sleep over it.

    Leupold Props!

I purchased a BAR in 300WM around 1989 and it had a shiny gloss finish so I stripped it and found out it was a died polyurethane. The walnut finish was then gone so I stained the stock with Minwax in Walnut and then did three coats of Tung oil to get the finish I was after. This was just before the composite stock craze took off. I also had it parkerized.

    Leupold Props!

I would have asked for the wood one back so I could do it myself.
  19. I saw a guy who had ordered a new F250 Diesel and was selling it for $115K and hadn't even taken delivery yet. I guess there are some long wait times for special ordered trucks. I'm still driving a 2000 F250 and don't want/need a payment.

    Leftover deer tags

That's been the case for the last three or four years.
  21. I have a EE foot and about a year or two ago bough a pair of Danner Quarry at Sportsmans Warehouse in Mesa. Pro's: 8" lace ups, Heavy Lugged Vibram Sole. All leather. Labeled Made in USA with Imported Components. They are comfortable and have held up well so far. Con's: A little heavy @ 33.5oz each, Insulated, Noisy. Toe box is short, probably due to them being insulated. They don't conform to the top of my foot and ankle as much as I would like.

How are they going to attach all those adds to an etag? Maybe it's be a wash since they will save on postage.
  25. Yeah, looks nothing like the hype on their website. https://www.cibophoenix.com/ Strange how quality gets overlooked when recognition comes and profits grow to the extent the staff justs wants a paycheck and quality control goes out the window when the basics are still there.
