Did you try calling the number in the post?

The Rut always has been different every year and people have been trying to figure it out for generations. I can remember past years when people posted there was very little and sporadic bugling. I was in Pine last weekend and the neighborhood 6X was bugling from 4PM to 10AM. At 9MA I was on the Colcord Rd and heard a bull at 9AM so you just never know.

What size tires are you running? Maybe someone on here has a set of chains you can rent or borrow.

Hunted Saturday but didn't see anything. Looking to go back up in the morning. Thinking of going up behind of Roosevelt as I've seen tracks up there and it is closer to Mesa.

Beautiful country. What are the temperatures like?
-
I totally get it. I'm not happy if a bullet doesn't group under 1/2 MOA but realistically 1.5 usualy works just fine since my longest kill shot was maybe 300 yards with a Tasco scope. I'm not too particular and have probably taken home more ugly chicks than Trophy Hunter 10 minutes after closing.

Very cool thing to do bud. Was my fav powder for 7 Mag.

I don't think so. Your best bet may be to drop it off at Caseys. But give MIllers a call.

I have shot lots of blems. Usually they are just discolored and are a great deal. It's not like we're benchrest shooters. I have a few boxes of Black Hills "Seconds" and they look fine to me. I ordered two boxes of the Accubonds so I'll post when they show up.

5X faster than COX.

That is a good savings. COX is charging me $74.99 for internet and I use them for email which I suppose I would loose by switching right?

I asked Ernesto and he said no. He should know as he goes every year.

Squirrel hunting question

My son and I were in 23 and drove down Colcord to the Young Rd and back and saw four. We also took a side road off Colcord down a few miles to Hagler and didn't see any down there. -
Consider yourself very lucky as it is a tough unit due to so much of it being private.

Probably Elk not Bovine.

Was that a special run Ruger did or upgrades by Clapp? What documentation do you have?
-
You might want to post up some groups and eventually a price. If you don't get any bites then maybe move it into the Classifieds section.
-
That really stinks. Did you get reimbursed at all?

What part of the valley is he in? I'm sure we have members here that would help him with this either at Bev Avery or at Rio Salado.- 11 replies

Almost sounds like heaven. I hope it's everything you need and more.

We had them in our office in Tempe and used Orkin. They came up through cracks in the slab 30 year old building. I found them when I was moving a box of printer paper that was on the carpeted floor in a closet. They had eaten most of the bottom and it was very damp. One guy had a framed picture hanging on the wall in his office. They had eaten their way up in the drywall and into the cardboard in the picture. Make sure you look in your attic too. Your insurance company may reimburse you for treatment. I would say don't go cheap on a company.

Nice looking buck, congrats to you.
