There was a thread on it a couple of months ago. It's just one more step.

Russ they get stolen from everywhere. I know of one taken from the SRP Employee Parking Lot, one at Home Depot but the owner caught the guy driving away and managed to get inside and punch him out before he got very far. Lots of ones taken from home driveways, we had one taken at work. Some get taken while people are shopping or in a resturant. In your case I would block it in between two other vehicles.

I use a Manfretto 290 xtra with a Promaster SPCH 20 and primarily use either 10x42 EL's, 15x56 SLC's or 12x42 NL's. It is very stable and the Promaster is super smooth. I also have an Athlon 15-45x65 but mostly use it at the range and do notice more shaking then I would like when it is windy. I would think that using a string and a weight bag would minimize that. I am going on about 3 years with this setup.

They were at one time getting stolen at the rate of a couple a week or more. They pop the lock or go in through the door handle so some guys put rear door handles on the fronts or put Jimmi Jammers in the door to prevent the lock from being pushed in. I did the Jimmi Jammers and use a Steering Wheel Club with the hex shaped key which is supposed to be harder to pick. I lost my keys about 10 years ago and called a locksmith who came and made me a new key. Once he go inside I asked him if he could pick the lock on the club, which had the traditional flat shaped key. He picked it in under ten seconds. About six years I had a Ravelco anti-theft system installed. They work great but you just have to remember to take the plug cap with you when you leave the truck. https://www.nohotwire.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=1710719165&utm_content=427617699994&utm_term=ravelco&ap=&mt=p&adg=66933460255&d=c&n=g&keyword=ravelco&gclid=Cj0KCQiA6LyfBhC3ARIsAG4gkF9zujsTB-AxQCi1a6N6o8umacIo_18p8D0AYf5hARSkh598b7gdEegaAnfqEALw_wcB There was a guy that thwarted getting his stolen earlier this week out by 96th Ave and Van Buren by someone in an unmarked white tow truck with dealer plates so keep an eye out for that one too. If anyone see's it please get the plate number.

PRDATR replied to AZBob's topic in The Campfire
We need Lance to chime in on the tower coverages as I know some sharing goes on between the providers. -

New Mexico GMU 26/27
PRDATR replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in New Mexico
It's tough loosing a family member. Even tougher as a caregiver, which not everyone has the caring, endurance and love to do 24/7. -
These don't come up very often.

Saw this on tv yesterday. Deer breeding. Monsters
PRDATR replied to andrewmilich's topic in The Campfire
That makes sense but I did watch a hunting show about deer like these that was strictly rick folk paying to shoot them to hang on the wall. That was probably two years ago. -

What Gun Range does everyone like?
PRDATR replied to Couzer's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Probably, either that or High Power Silhouette. At least that's how it was years ago when I shot High Power Silhouette and for $5 you could have a gate key. -

I think Ben Avery is best. Then there is the one on about 7th and Baseline. Rio was great when I first started going there. The rangemaster was always busy doing maintenance so the shooters called cease fires and you could put targets out to 300 yards until about five years ago. IIRC the rangemaster call the range hot while people were still downrange so their insurance probably nixed putting targets out there.
