    Oahu fishing charters

I went over about 5 years ago and had these guys recommended to me by a member od another forum who lives there. We caught a Marlin in the 400 pound range and also caught a Yellow Fin that was about 135 Pounds. They keep the fish but will give you some if you want, I think about 35 pounds. We would have stayed out longer but my buddy's daughter got seasick. Get a prescription for Scopace from your family doc. It's better than the patch and acts quicker. They were about a half hour drive from downtown. http://www.worldwidefishing.com/hawaii/b1660/

Arizona Game and Fish officer under investigation

Yes, I would prefer a different philosophy for managing the states wildlife! And yes there is a large segment of hunters here in AZ that would love to reshape wildlife management in AZ. We have a out of touch commission that would rather text and joke amongst them selves while hunters who took time off of work try adress them at meetings. We have a department that continues to increase tag numbers in this state without scientific data to support such tag increases. We have a department and commission that crammed a baiting law down our throat based on junk science and a made up fear of CWD. We have local game wardens with a attitude that hunters are guilty until proven innocent. We have a department that has publicly said that anyone that profits from the taking of wildlife is probably guilty of doing something illegal. We have wardens that look down on hunters and talk down to them, instead of supporting the one who pay their check. When you have commissioners and others in the department breaking the law, we hunters are tired of looking the other way. Its time for new management in this department, and time for real leadership. So Larry, although I am not on the side of Daniel Patterson, I am ready for our Game and Fish department to move in a better direction so that there will be some thing left for my grandkids to hunt! I don't agree with some of your post but you just hit a Home Run. My take is G&F has such a huge operating expense (and debt) they only look at revenue. WE NEED G&F BIOLOGISTS TO COME FORWARD. Too much waste being funded with our dollars.

    What made these?

They usually just take over an existing burrow that a Badger made digging up a snake or rodent.

    Remington XP-100

I had one in 7BR that would shoot one hole groups at 100 yards. Good Luck with the sale.

    Rock River Dogs

That's a big ratio. There is just something gratifying for me in calling them in with a hand call. I was a member for both Phoenix and Mesa Varmint Callers back in the 80' and 90's when the Circe calls were about all there were with the exception of the Talley Ho. I guess what ever works for each hunter. I saw a show where the guys use electronic calls and sit out in the open and still get dogs to come in. Some are a lot more wary like the one that came in earlier this month. He just poked his head up over a small rise before ducking back in and slowly circleing around trying to get a good look. I like the soft rubber calls made by Sceery and have one that is probably five years old and still has the same reed.

Just curious. What did they have to say?

    Rock River Dogs

Definitely very cool. I shot one earlier in the month also with an AR, hand calls and open sights. First stand of the morning almost 15 minutes into calling. It was the first shot out of a new rifle and now I know I at least need a brighter front sight as it was first light and cloudy. Scope is on the list of things to get. After calling with hand calls for 25 years I just can't bring myself to get an electronic caller.

    Idiot Next Door

Or how about always UNload your gun before you start cleaning!? Have heard of people racking the slide on a semi-auto pistol to clear them chamber with their finger on the trigger. Caused one person a trip to the hospital when a 40 S&W round went into his forearm. He was a very lucky person to not have had permanent loss of his arm.

    Glock Magazine wanted (G17)

    Still looking.
  16. I am looking for a G17 magazine to use in my G22 in new or good condition. I gave my Sig Pro to my son and will be looking to get a 9mm barrel and magazine so I can shoot 9mm in the G22.

That ticket is my evidence. I all ready have them on 1 item for dismissal. $335.00 for a red light ticket? They should send a jar of vaseline with each ticket. The Process Server will bring it with him.

    Good scope?

I have been looking too and like the VX-R but haven't had a chance to look through one yet. It has a bigger tube so it stands to reason it will let in more light. I'm looking for something light with lots of eye relief with no more than 6X that won't break the budget. For calling I know from past experiences that most shots are under 50 yards.

Getting within bow range is 90% of it. Good luck o your other tag. All this rain kept me indoors this weekend so scouting will have to wait.

    Thoughts on Cabelas 12x50 Euros

I don't know anyone who has a pair. Just my luck I'd be one of the unlucky hunters who ended up with a pair fogging up. You can always rent high end glass for a week during the hunt and you will have confidence in the gear and won't be second guessing it or loosing sleep over it.

Polymer Lower? Does anyone else make a polymer one?
  25. I managed to finally save up enough and get an AR in November and had been looking around for ammo and accessories for it. Flash forward to 12/14 and I sitting in a motel in Mexico and the Sandyhook shooting comes on the news. By the time I'm back in the states all heck breaks loose and AR ammo and stuff is nowhere to be found. I expect prices to stay high for quite a while and while they will eventually begin to drop I don't expect them to come down to pre Sandyhook levels. I definitely think you got gouged. What brand dies did you get? Are they small base or standard?
