He would still manage to shoot AA in HP Silhouette with it though. Just something about Big Bores that gets my blood flowing.

A friend has a Stoeger M3500 and has taken birds to 75 yards with it. Just thought I'd put that out there if you choose to go new. You want a 12g.

Big ole pot of collards with black-eyed peas, purano beans, smoked Turkey wings and ham hocks. Collards were planted last year then were left in to go to seed. They are still producing leaves but smaller and in bouquets.

Yeah that's always a concern on the spring hunts I have been on as their always out of the den by then. I've called exclusively for them a bunch but I'm no Reed Petersen. My only bear was a solo spot and stalk in 2000.
