While the "ever growing OHV community" isn't completely blameless the ease at which the smaller sized vehicles can access areas a that jeep or truck cannot creating new paths that eventually have become roads has contributed immensely to where we are now (IMHO) and the NFS Plan. I'm not throwing the OHV'ers under the buss but this has been coming for a very long. We just need to use some common sense before it all gets locked up.

What are your preferred gun cleaning solvents and oils?

I tried the Slip 2000 but am not totally convinced yet. I usually use M-Pro 7 for the most part and it seems to do a good job without the ammonia from Sweets. -
No ground shrinkage there Ernesto.

Bowhunter Happening July 19-21 Mormon Lake
PRDATR replied to darrcolburn's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Haven't been in years but it was always a great time. I'm working every weekend for the next month or so. -
I have seen them up around A1 Lake and saw four sitting underneath a big Juniper each 90* from the other many years ago up near Flagstaff.

The big one are probably there but the smaller ones are more aggressive so it is tougher to get past them, try using a bigger bait.

That's refreshing to hear I was beginning to wonder if anyone besides myself have been seeing chicks.

Looks like a great excuse to get the heck out of the valley heat.

NOT FUNNY!

That's a pretty decent thing to do. Growing up a friend a block over and I were pitchers from Little League on up. He had more speed as we got into HS and had a few more pitches in his arsenal. I remember seeing him standing under the streetlight in front of his house at 11:00 at night doing windups. He was actually good enough to get a full scholarship to Fla State. Sadly on the 4th of July in 1976 he dove into a swimming pool at our friends house, hit his head and lead the rest of his life as a quadrapalegic passing a few years ago. In all my years of pitching I NEVER lost a pitch or hit a batter.

Come on man. This is a hunting site, do we really need to be spewing racism on it? It doesn't bode well for CWT.Com and I'm sure there are plenty of other website you can put it on. As hunters we get enough grief from the anti's we don't need someone painting us with a broad brush.

I think it was a memorial from the kids friends.
-
How long have you had this powder and how old is it?
-
That's pretty inappropriate for this Forum. We have kids on here so reel yourself in and modify your post please. Jeeze what the heck is CWT.Com coming too?

You don't even "have to" crimp if it has a cannelure. True, but some people will try to crimp any bullet the point I was trying to get across is if you want to crimp a bullet and it has a cannelure then do so, otherwise don't crimp.

Same thought, only in Tempe.

The logistics probably dictate OTR vs rail.

The 770's have a more tolerance on the bolts from what I have seen. Is it possible the magazine spring is putting too much upward pressure on the rounds?

Anyone ever use Speer bullets
PRDATR replied to sherman's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Both my kids used my Remington 788 in 22-250 to kill a couple of Doe's on the Kaibab for their first hunts using factory rounds with Trophy Bonded Bear Claws from Federal which were 55gr. My son shot his at 35 yards and we did not recover the bullet. My daughters shot was closer to 175 and was a spine shot and the recovered bullet was 52gr's. This was in 2001 and I still have 14 rounds left in that box. -
I use Bit Defender on Win 8 and it won't open up the links because of the Security Certificate. Did you post pictures?
-
If your flying into the bush check the regs on bringing propane in the plane, don't believe it is permitted but ask over here. http://forums.outdoorsdirectory.com/forum.php?

You only need to crimp if the bullet has a canelure. Recoil is fairly mild with both rounds but bullets can still be pushed back into the case causing excessive pressure so make sure the case necks are tight and don't load and unload bullets as that can also cause them to be pushed back.

They are usually always over priced. Try this SE. http://www.gunbot.net/index.php?cal=22lr

You're all heart, LOL. When my kids were little I would also spend more time baiting their hooks than being able to fish so I finally just gave in and let them have at it. But as soon as the fishing slowed down they would grab a stick or tree limb and some old line from the shore and spend hours catching crayfish.
