Well he called and said he was on his way so if whoever answered the phone should have said they were closing early. Pretty simple. We're talking a Mom & Pop shop so when he showed up and they said they were closed how much effort would it have been to open up for him? Shame on them. They'll never get my business.

I think we just don't hear about them as much. I did see one that went 127 on the wall of a resident when I was down there last year.

Nice, definitely jealous. Did you get it from Sportsmans?

I wish I would have seen this yesterday as I am off from work and would have been more than happy to tag along and glass since I fill my tag last month.

I always wore them and would buy a few pairs when Mervyns would have them on sale a few times a year. Then they went out of business. After that I couldn't find them anywhere for under $38 a pair and started wearing Wranglers. One thing I found was the Wranglers didn't fade as quickly, the belt loops didn't break and the crotch didn't wear out and get holes. When Wrangler came out with the stretch blue jeans I started wearing them because they are lighter and a lot cooler in the summer and at $22 a pair I can buy four pair at a time and if I tear one up it's no big deal plus I always have five or six pairs around that aren't all ratty looking to wear on the job.

"Hardly" being the key word.. Plenty of folks still take the heart and liver but even with the gutless method you're going to get bloody and have greasy fat on your hands. With the trend to shooting these little deer with monster magnum calibers and plastic tipped boolits you are bound to get bloodshot meat, hence lots of blood clots to be removed. I don't mind using gloves but they always rip and I end up just tossing them aside and going commando. LOL

I don't think they have made them here in 10 years. http://www.ebay.com/gds/Levis-Made-in-the-USA-/10000000002166814/g.html Guess they are still out there. http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Levi's%C2%AE-501-Original-Fit-for-Brooks-Brothers/485R,default,pd.html

I know quite a bit about Ford Diesels but I don't know squat about Dodges.

For the amount of money you are going to spend trying to get rid of that smell you are going to be better off buying a new pair.

Even though that sign has been posted a bunch of times on CWT this year it is still funny.

Whats you price range? I don't consider Vortex to be High End but they are very good and comparable to Kahles, Kowa and Meopta, Minox and Steiner. If you want "High End" you should be looking at Leica, Zeiss or Swarovski unless Schmidt & Bender ever decides to come out with Binos.

Have you been to the optometrist? You might have cataracts. I've noticed that my eyesight isn't what it used to be and last year during a checkup the optometrist told me I have them but just not far enough along to warrant surgery.

I guess it really comes down to what suits you and your style. Look at FOV and Twilight Factor, think of magnification as though it was horsepower. I have never felt handicapped at 15X and have had 3 pairs of Swarovskis at 15x56. I will admit I have never looked through the 12's. My daily carry's are 8.5x42 EL and I keep a pair of 20X's in my pack. My thoughts are if you want to see a knats behind at 1000 yards get the 12's. If you want to count how many hairs are on it get the 15's.

SC Rez 2014-15 Non-Member Coues Lottery Draw

Seldom, It gives you a chance to take two bucks. -
I've used the Club on my vehicles for years. I had to have a locksmith come out and make me a set of keys when I left them at a farm stand in Wlcox one year and didn't realize it until I got back to a buddy's house in Tucson. It took him about 10 minutes to make a key for the door and less than 10 seconds to pick the lock on the Club. It was the older model with the flat key and now I upgraded to the newer one with the four sided key.

Having grown up in the 60's as a teenager and seeing many of those actual events firsthand of and explaining them to my son like the guy who ran across the US, the GI and his GF on the mall was pretty cool. I'd like to see someone remake the film with the actual footage and a little followup of where those people are now.

It may have been legal in the past or in another State.
