I have one in 22-250 and for those who are not familiar with these rifles they are very accurate due to them having a heavier receiver than the Model 700. They were commonly referred to as Remington's "Budget Tack Driver". They have a detachable magazine which holds three rounds and a 60* Bolt Lift with 9 lugs and the fastest lock time of any production bolt action ever made.

I was in Bass Pro over the weekend and they said they have been told sometime in March for them although they may be available from other places. I'd email Doug or call Neil at Cameraland.

None that I know of. In the past I've used http://www.optics4rent.com/.

I look at little things like that as just making sure you keep you stuff in good shape. I tend to just replace things like that when they look like they are getting worn out. It's not so much the weight laces take up but the space in your pack and that "may" be better served by something like para cord. Sure you can carry plenty of stuff but on a backpack trip I'd rather suffer a hardship or two then plan for every circumstance especially on a short trip like four days. I'd rather pack light and do without with the prospect (animal down) of packing out more than I brought in. The weather will have an influence on what you bring so watch it closely and then adjust on the day of your departure.

As long as you are not sweating very much you should be able to get by on 1/2 gallon per day. You can get by with MRE's, Mountain Home meals, nuts, Power Bars and some bananas.

"Great story......it is what life is about" There is NOTHING more rewarding than being a parent. It adds 12"'s to each of your shoulders. Congratulations to you and the Misses.

Get something with the most eye relief so she doesn't creep up on the stock and get dinged by the scope.

Boots that have hooks tend to wear out the laces over time.

Powder does not go bad just keep it stored indoors. I can remember buying H322 for $6 a pound and about double that for IMR 20 years ago. Everything goes up eventually.

Guess I need to get crackin.

The USA from the Midwest to Cali has been in drought conditions for a few years with no relief in sight. As far as AZ goes this is the website to monitor. http://www.azwater.gov/AzDWR/StatewidePlanning/drought/DroughtStatus2.htm

Pretty much the very last thing I want to see when I'm out looking for Coues. When you posted Locater Tool I expected to see the names of a few of our more notorious posters.

I bought my son a turbo dog and while it is fine for some terrain it is not loud enough for windy days and I can reach out much further with my mouth calls.

Those 7 'sets' could have been over a week, a month, heck even a years time... They're selling a product, remember that. Get the Foxpro Scorpion. Used for $250 shouldn't be hard to do, I've killed a lot of critters with mine. It was one day.

Coyote vs. Sprawl
PRDATR replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
"Howling has increased at night, Stratton said, a sign that breeding season is coming. The neighbors hope their trapper is successful before the coyotes begin to multiply." Maybe he can only trap the females. Yeah, that's the ticket. -
The cycle last 2 1/2 to 3 weeks and if a doe is not impregnated during the 24 hours when she is receptive she will be receptive in another 28 days.

Pretty sure that 30 acres can be surrounded with a lot less than a mile of fence. They show a lot of area getting closed off in the maps shown in the link. Remember what they did along Usery and the Lower Salt years ago? This is also going to involve road closures and fines for driving on existing roads from the responses I read on the G&F Facebook page that were posted yesterday.

I have a pair of Justin lace up work boots that wear like iron and I keep them in my work vehicle with a pair of Smart Wool socks in them when I need to be on a jobsite. They are the American Made ones and after three years they still have very little wear on the sole. http://www.sheplers.com/Justin-Original-8-Lace-Up-Work-Boots/3583.pro?&relationType=topSell&cross-sell=true The soles are fairly hard and after a 12-16 hour day my feet know it but for a regular workday they are fine. I have had to replace the laces once and use the leather conditioner on them every few months. They are not steel toe and come with that silly fringe on the base of the tongue but I didn't put it on. I've worked construction in one form or another since the 70's and for slip on boots these are the ones that most of the electricians, steelworkers and pipefitters wear. http://www.sheplers.com/Justin-Premium-Wedge-Work-Boots-Soft-Round-Toe/1889.pro?parentCategoryId=447&categoryId=232&subCategoryId=233 Dan Post also make some nice boots too and I have a pair of Cowboy boots that have an oil resistant non slip sole I bought at Boot Barn about 9 years ago and have held up well. I've found the best thing is to get a couple of pairs of boots so you don't have to put on sweaty boots the next day.

10's and 15's are used for two different purposes.

How about just selling it at a fair price through a lottery. I don't know how long you have had it or what you paid for it but anything between $23 - $36 is what I consider to be fair price.

I opened this up expecting to see a picture of John McCain.
