They are a LOT of work. People bitch because every jewish mamasita wants to retire selling them. Jewish as in Passover, because they just passover the meat and all you end up with is a mouth full of grainy cornmush, a little bit of red chili and a tablespoon of meat. I've bought dozens over the last 50 years I've lived here and had passable ones from maybe three times.

Get the word out and put in a plug for your local place. Let us know how many ounces they are. Types and choices of rolls and toppings. I like to make them at home and find that about 7 ounces gives me enough time to get it charred and not over cook it and top it off with onion, tomato, avacado but that can change on a whim. One day it might be ketchup and next day could be Caesar Dressing which works well on Corn on the Cobb instead of butter when wrapped in foil and put on the grill for 20 minutes.

I had a few elk done years ago from either Caseys or Rhondas or both and they would load up a Uhaul and deliver to Phoenix and then to Tucson. No extra charge. I usually met them at Sportsmans.
