I would try as you never know. I was at Woods two weeks ago with my son and all they wanted was power eggs on the bottom and it was real slow. I managed two to his four over four hours. The lake was overflowing at the spillway. I never pass up a chance to wet a line. Good Luck Harley.

Do you think they should have conceded to her? I think you did what any other hunter would have done.

Wasn't there a big fire at B&M?

I remember the one on Stapley. I bought a Calcutta either a 200 or a 250 when they were closing down for like 30% off which was still a lot of money back then. It was stolen a few years ago.

Do you sign in at the gate for the area you want to hunt or use an app in addition to physically signing in when you enter the base?

Sorry I've never set foot on it. Good Luck.

That's pretty cool. -
I have a double blade 3/4 fiberglass handle axe that probably came from the hardware store 20 years ago and is still going strong. Hatchets are either fiberglass handle with a rubber grip or all metal with a rubber grip. None will break the bank. Couldn't pay to own either one with a wood handle.

Anyone switched to copper bullets?
PRDATR replied to Rudebob's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Good powder for 120's, depending on the barrel length. Practice with that load but move up to a heavier bullet for elk. 7-08 was my goto for High Power Silhouette for many years. -

Good Luck. I saw lots of people out yesterday on the 300 Road cutting Christmas Trees.

Go on You Tube and see how to adjust it.

Those Kaibab deer can get huge and it sounds like you defanitley earned that one. How cold was it at night, teens? What caliber is the rifle? I know it's just the angle but that barrel looks really long.

Chefs Choice electric that has three different wheels. Works great for kitchen knives. I was never good at using a stone. I can only get a knife so sharp with one which is never really sharp enough. I have an outdoor edge with the replaceable blades which eventually get the job done but doesn't take the place of a real knife.

Once the tree is "rusty" it is pretty much done. During droughts the tree can't absorb enough moisture to produce sap.

Eddie it was great meeting you and your Mom. She has a lot of spunk and is a very sweet lady. I promise to take great care of this chair. -
I might have to go. Haven't been since most of you were born and only went a few times but I picked it up after a few hours.
