Government Preparedness Letter Ahead of Missouri Grand Jury Decision
PRDATR replied to Healy Arms's topic in The Campfire
This just gives the people who are going to riot the blessing to go ahead and do it. NEWS FLASH. We are going to look the other way when the masses run amuck. OK, so America has racial issues and a long history of it. Can't be denied but it seems like the individuals who riot never get called on the carpet. I hate seeing this crap go down. I don't live there so it's hard to understand why kids walk down the middle of the street. Yeah there are no sidewalks in much of rural America but you can hear a car coming so get outta the center of the street, but the Subculture PoPo is so out of control and feeling empowered with the militarization transistion of the last 10 years. Even their everyday attire is designed to intimidate, but they call it functional. I firmly believe they are all trigger happy.- 6 replies

Looking at those necks made me think they were in the Rut. My nephew is heading out tonight from LI up to the Catskills. Too many things going on or I'd be with him. Did you see that bear shot in I think SC that went almost 800#'s. Shockey posted a pic on his FB page.

Beautiful pups.

Yup. I was in trying to get them to budge a little on A Swarovski Z5. Didn't work there or at BP or Cabelas. I ended up coming back up later that afternoon with my son, since it was for him and getting it then. I mounted it for him and he went out yesterday and sighted it in.

Message me. -
Congrats man. I hate when regular stuff interrups hunting season.

I'm no expert but I believe a minnie ball need a faster twist than a patched round ball.
-
It took him quite a bit of practice to get up to that speed and I believe they run compressed air under the hide to loosen it first. Can't remember all the details when I first saw this posted around this time last year but he is fast. That place processes a lot of deer every year.

Nice buck.

Good looking deer, big congrats to you two.

December hunt, new to coues but not to hunting
PRDATR replied to moorehunter86's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I think the start of the Rut will come a bit earlier than last year but full on is last few days of December into January. -
That's stinks. Thanks for the heads up.

Ended up getting the Z5.

So about 10 years ago I bought my young son a Tikka 695 in 30.06 and it is a great gun. Shoots MOA with factory ammo (because I'm too lazy to breakout the reloading stuff). The first scope it wielded was a 2-7X Leupold VX1. A few years ago I put a used 3-10X Zeiss Conquest on it I bought off of CWT. He told me today he would like a new scope, mo powa too and he told he was looking at a (ahem-puke) Vortex Crossfire. I took a deep breath and told him I would see what Camera Land has. Then I let him look through a Zeiss HD Conquest I got from Neil last year and told him I would sell off the Conquest and an older VXll 4x12 to finance a new scope. Now, I see this as my big chance to step up and upgrade the HD on my 700 by buying a Schmidt and Bender with some Warne Quick release rings and when he isn't looking I can do the ole switcheroo in the field. Works for me. I have Talley Lightweight 1" rings on his rig now. What do you think about going to 34mm? Care to recommend a scope from 3-18X? He thinks he wants one with multiple reticles but after using the Zeiss with the RZ800 reticle I'm not so sure it is for him since you are supposed to keep it on 13X, at least for the load in my 7Mag. I'd like to keep this under $1500. What are your thoughts? Another Zeiss, Leupy VX6? Huskema? I need to move on this in the next few days to get it sighted in for our hunt in less than 3 weeks.

One charge so far. Not sure if it for Turkey or Javelina.

Leaning towards the Swarovski in 3.5-18x44.

Always thought it was a poorly chosen location.

Nice work. They should buy you some donuts.

This was a relatively mild summer.
