Woke up to the smell of rain. Maybe we'll get a little today.

I'd rather be scent free but in my experience I pay more attention to the wind direction and where I walk to keep the sound down but in this terrain that is always a challenge especially by mid morning when the dew dissipates and the ground becomes more noisey. In the open terrain voices can carry 700 yards with no problem.

1 in 10, whose barrel are you running? I've always liked 1 in 9 1/4 myself. -
I've never see a live one in the wild but a friend lives up in New River and he has posted pics and video of three different ones at his place over the last couple of months.

Im glad to see your back into buying hunting gear instead of selling. Good luck. Im looking for the same , but not yet. I could be wrong, but I don't think you will find a better price with fall tags due out in a few weeks and reality sets in for those lucky enough to draw a tag.
