Ole Grover has a guilty look to him. Glad he is safe and sound though. -
I saw some a few years ago in 6A near Clear Creek and I was wondering why they were 15 feet up in a tree. Now I know why.

I go to BP on occasion and was there yesterday looking for a fiber optic sight for a recent shotgun I purchased. I don't like going there because it is so dark there. It looked like they were conducting a CCW Class upstairs.

Pretty sure they were 350cc and it doesn't look like there are any front drive shafts so probably 2WD.
-
There is also one in Tucson besides the one in Mesa and North Phoenix.

I found that the spikes sold in stores like Home Depot that are used to hang rain gutters work pretty good for hard ground and don't bend much, if at all. Just put a fender washer on them.

Shotgun patterning question
PRDATR replied to slopoke36's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Phil I want to thank you for taking the time out to write up a detailed explanation of shotgun fit. I'm surprised that more manufacturers do not at least put some shims in with a shotgun, especially the more pricey ones. A few years ago I went on the hunt for a new shotgun and wanted a semi. I would go in the store and shoulder the gun with my eyes closed a couple of times just to get a feel for mounting it comfortably. What I found was the one that felt the best had me needing to bring my head up off the stock just a tiny bit to get a good sight picture. I never did get a gun that year and have been staying with an old Model 12 which fits me perfectly and my eye looks right down the vent rib. I had an old shooting buddy by the name of Mardy Kemmer who was very into shooting Trap and Skeet. One year he bought his wife a shotgun and took it to a smith who adjusted it to fit her. Do you know if there is anyone in AZ who does this anymore? I picked up a semiauto recently and would like to see about possibly having it check for the way it fits me. When I shot HP Silhouette I bought a stock from H&S that had just the right amount of cast for me allowing my eye to align perfectly with the scope but I don't believe there are any stock manufacturers that offer that option any longer. -

The kid working the counter had no idea what they were and barely figured out how to fill it out. I told him to make sure to have the person sign across it when they put it on their license. -
Leupold rings and bases are about as simple as it gets and install is pretty straightforward so I don't know why they were having trouble.

Is he a NASCAR driver?

Let's face it. Hunting the southern units just isn't for everyone. I doubt he killed anything though because the deer could probably smell the fear.

15% contained as of this morning, mostly staying in the river bottom of the Gila is what they said.

Great trip, I would love to do some fishing over there. -
Sounds like he will be scouting the area for Elk while he is archery deer hunting. I'd say go up and do some camping over the 4th to familiarize yourself with the area.

Yeah, this has been circulating around the internet for about a week or so. Pretty funny to read some of the peoples comments.

Shotgun patterning question
PRDATR replied to slopoke36's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Not everyone mounts the shotgun the same everytime. So, even though the pattern can be about the same for a given choke it can be high, low or off to one side. Patterning will let you know where most of the shot is going. Ever go and shoot doves and nail everyone of them and the next week only hit one out of four? Yeah me neither LOL -
??? for you / ALMOST DOVE TIME! yeee ha

Already put in an RTO for a half day on both the 1st and 2nd. I'm salary and worked nine hours on a Saturday a couple of months back and am probably out of vacation days since the bosses wife changed a sick day I took (boss said it was ok to take one) to a vacation day after I took it. I get 6 a year but we don't get paid for them if we don't take them and in almost five years I have only taken two. -
Hoghunter this was manufactured in 2000, hence the older style pistol grip.
-
Yeah I read that this morning, I'll have to remove it. The two letter code I found is higher than the dates they had listed so I went to the Beretta site but it looks like I'm one number short from what I took off of the bottom of the receiver.

I've done all my own oil changes (over 50) except for a few on a 2000 F250 7.3 and probably 90% of them was with Rotella T6 and a Motorcraft Filter with with tax is close to $100.00 since it takes 15qts and I but four one gallon jugs. Fuel Filters run about $35 and get changes every 15K. -
