Take a look back a month or so about the mudbug topic. I have used the little crawfish traps and also the cylindrical minnow traps and I like them better. Reason is they can hold more crawfish and the position they rest on the bottom is foolproof.

I use game bags then put them into yard sized trash bags which go into my frame backpack. I just leave the top open to let the heat get out.

I have a few questions if you don't mind. 1. How old is this rifle? 2. How many rounds through it? 3. Do you have any targets to show groups? 4. Does the case and stock bullet thingy come with it? 5. Blind Magazine or hinged floor plate. I know you said you want to keep the rings and bases but unless you have another rifle to put them on you might want to consider leaving them on. Do you have the original filler screws? Whose bases are they? Kinda odd that they overlap the action like that.

I have a Stainless Model 700 ADL I bought new in 93 with a composite stock which is pretty heavy. I don’t have a scale so I don’t know how much the stock weighs but I would like to replace it with something lighter and am looking for suggestions.

It is the best shell out there for the ranges out past 100 yards as far as accuracy goes, even beats out the Brenneke stuff.
