Wow Mike, reading this kinda took my breath away. God bless you and your family. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I'll be praying for you guys.

Back in the 80's you could legally take a second deer, at least in Unit 29. But we have a lot more hunters today and populations have crashed.

Yesterday was a great day to be out Christina and I congratulate you for making the most of it. You're turning into quite the little story teller too.

I'll let our front office admin manager know about this. This is what she does now, we do HVAC Controls. She told me on Tuesday she is leaving towards the end of January and she would be perfect for her since this is what she has been doing for the last half dozen years.

Cessna, the one I have is s single sided red one. It weighs about as much as a Highlighter and is about the same size. I usually carry a skinning knife and a drop point KABAR. I had a Havalon but didn't care for it and donated it to another hunting website to give to a youth hunter or just raffle it off.

Snow usually ='s muddy conditions and wet clothes.

I keep a DMT in my pack.

I have not been there for years been there for years but according to this article the area is going to be part of a land swap that McCain added to the defense spending act which will probably get approved by Thursday. Thoughts? http://m.tucson.com/news/apache-tribe-distressed-by-privatization-of-sacred-land/article_c8f9f32c-80c0-11e4-a781-a7334409bcc3.html?mobile_touch=true

Well hunting in the snow provided it isn't frozen (crunchy) should be OK. It will be wet and the ground unstable and muddy. Just make sure you and yours have warm, waterproof boots.

Didn't think you could use FMJ's.

My nephew's wife posted it was snowing in East Mesa last night. Glad I covered my peppers.

Air quality stinks in Phoenix, always has and I've been here since 77. No reason to have a fireplace that is capable of burning anything other than Gas. I drive the 101 from the East Valley to I-17 every so often. The smoke from fireplaces never gets more than about 50' above the ground. Drive through the Verde Valley or Cottonwood where there is just a cloud of smoke. I would want to breathe that even when I was a smoker and sure would not want my kids breathing it either.

Very nicely done. Once in a lifetime Moose, was it DIY?

What no pictures? LOL Congrats on the hunt. How many tags did your party have? That is usually a pretty cold hunt, I know I've had it before and in that general area.

Seeing his picture really hit home for me. He is the same age as my son and there is an uncanny resemblence.

LOL, All of my frame packs have electrical tape on them.

One common thread all of the great civilizations have is that they eventually all fell from power, every single one of them. I am sure there are some statistics out there as far as deaths of Law Enforcement people go but this reminds me a bit of the 60's when there was a lot of random violence against them.

He did my first pig for me in the 80's when his shop was in central Mesa. Sadly it burned to the ground a while back.

Or put in on and used a hairdryer to melt it in.

I was hoping you were going to fill that Coues Tag and post up some pic's. That one is a dandy, congrats.
