Murph, Problem with those old cars is the points and plugs darn near needed to be changed every 10 -15 thousand miles. Of course it only took a dwell meter and bout an hour on most vehicles and a 10 spot. Unless you had a car that had dual points. Course the fumes would kill ya, hate driving behind one of those old carbureated beasts although I did see a nice 67 Chevelle, all black paint, today on my way home. Probably could shave in the reflection of that paint. Sure would like a 390 to stuff in a green 68 2+2.

Glad your son was OK. Getting wet when it is chilly out isn't any fun. Short Story, a few years ago my son and I were fishing the spillway at Woods Canyon Lake when a couple drove their boat up to the shore to call it quits for the day. It was chilly out and getting close to sundown and it was obvious they had been drinking a bit. She steps out onto a rock and looses her balance and goes down getting submerged up to her chest. She wobbles up droaning on how cold it is with a few OMG's and choice cuss words, meanwhile the guy is just sitting in the back of the boat. My son and I are just looking at each other not saying a word. She takes a few steps and slips and goes darn near in again up to her eyebrows. She stands up OMGing about how cold it is walking away very slowly stiff as a board. We had all we could do to keep from laughing but at least she appeared to not have been hurt. I mention something to my son about the guy probably sleeping alone tonight. They were camped not to far from us in the Spillway Campground and when we drove past them and the other couple they were with in the morning nobody was talking as they were packing up to go.

Ask him for it and tell him how much it means to you. Worst he could do is say know.

Hey buddy, How long did you cook your Turkey in the oven bag? I don't remember but probably about 2 1/2 hours. Stuff cooks faster in those bags, just remember to flour the inside of the bag and cut some slits in it and use an instant read thermometer if you don't have a regular one to put into the inner thigh. If you stuff it that will increase the cooking time and make sure it is cooked all the way.

Makes me want to pay my old buddy a visit and see if he still has my old aluminum boat tucked away in his backyard.

We always catch more fish at WC than Knoll. But there are fewer people at Knoll and there are some places where you can camp just before the campground where you can walk to the lake, although it is a little steep, but manageable. It will be windy today and tomorrow as this cold front moves in so expect to see temps pretty close to freezing at night. Knoll and WC are both at about 7500'.

If you get the LED one the current draw is going to be minimal. If you use a regular bulb type for every 12 watts will be one amp.

Great family you have there. Happy Birthday

I get what you are saying Cramer. Just a word of advise. I lost my oldest daughter in Dec of 2015. Wasn't because of a side by side but it was a terrible thing to happen to our family. I would hate for you to have a loss of a child that may have been prevented by such a small thing as a helmet. Remember, they are looking to you for leadership, guidance, and to protect them. jmo I can attest to what Murfys said. I lost my only daughter 8 years ago when she was 18. Dumb stuff that kids do absolutely ruined my life.

So if I put in now and don't get drawn on 6/1 do I get a preference point or should I just wait and buy a preference point after 7/1 and work toward building points as I probably won't have time to go this year anyway?

Adam, Last year I found a recipe on-line somewhere which included brineing it and adding sage, rosemary and tyme to the brine. I brined it too long maybe 12 hours or so and it was a bit salty. But it tasted better than any turkey I have ever cooked and was super tender. I cooked it in an oven bag.

Deeralina. Only a very small isolated population a few people know about.

How much water has been flowing down Eagle Creek this spring?

I bought some Under Armour boots last year and while they are comfortable they are not giving me feet and ankles the support I want. After hiking for a few hours on anything but flat ground they have too much give in them and the laces put pressure against the top of my foot when going downhill. These replaced a pair of Danner Pronghorns which were maybe three years old which in my opinion gave more support but the heel blew out after 2 1/2 years. There was litteraly no break in for either boot.

I remember when we had a ton of rain back in about 78/79. SRP had no choice but to let water out of Saguaro into the Lower Salt and then into the riverbottom. The only way across it was on Central Ave, the I-10 by the airport and Mill Ave. ASU had just built and paved a new parkinglot and it go washed away. I also remember when the Gila flooded in 93. Sure made a mess out of Paloma Ranch and that whole area along the river.

That's awesome.

He was on one this morning but it flew as he drew back. He was pretty excited to say the least which is great because he lets himself get discouraged too easy.

Congrats. It is a lot of hard work.

LOL, not so sure about that but he did take my three decoys with him.

Definitely frustrating. If my son doesn't have any success I may go out with him this weekend to lend a hand.
