How frightened that little kid must have been. Wandering around alone and scared. Makes absolutely no sense.

Who did the fluting and how much was it? I'm looking to have my 700 done. PM is ok.

With that itty bitty truck 55 was probably all he could go and was lucky if he was getting 15mpg. Looks like a homemade trailer built by someone who never towed a trailer before.

Some pretty wacked out comments on there. I'm not sure what to believe. This article makes it sound like the child wandered away from the camp, another article I read said the Mom and child were about 100 - 200 yards from camp and lost track of him. Very very sad and I find it strange that nothing has turned up yet.

Personal Observation About Paddle Boards, Or Whatever You Call Them
PRDATR posted a topic in The Campfire
Today at Woods Canyon Lake I witnessed three different people on these. Yeah I get it, it's the latest fad and all the rage. Each person also had a kid about 4 or 6 on the front of the board. With no PFD. Now I am certain that this is so new that USCG does not have anything in the regs about it but it is pretty disturbing to see a kid under 12 in a kayak or boat right next to them with kids wearing them and a child in the middle of a 40' deep lake without one on. -
Solid copper bullet better performance on larger animals or smaller coues?
PRDATR replied to apache12's topic in Long Range Shooting
I shot my first Coues with a 120gr X bullet handload and it dropped in it's track. The shot was about 200 yards in the early 90's before anyone used rangefinders. The rifle was a Model 700 in 7 Mag and if memory serves me the load was about 69 grains of RL22 at about 3350fps. The shot was at about a 20 degrees angle down and the bullet was just a few inches to the left of the spine and I lost about golf ball sized piece of meat. That load also has worked well on Mule Deer, Black Bear and Caribou. -
Call me when the price comes down to 3 cents a round.

I was looking at Habimap but I did not see if there was a way to enable a layer for Water Catchments. It also does not seem to be able to zoom in as much as GOOGLE Earth. If someone could help me with it I would appreciate it.

That's true. You can bet the crank is scored but the rods should be ok and not twisted. At a minimum it is going to take a week to rebuild it.
